Washer machine erroe code oe

The LG error code OE simply means “the pump is blocked”. Presumably the water isn’t being emptied properly.A pump, or filter blockage is the most common cause but it could be caused by other faults such as a faulty pump, or even a blockage in the drain hose or somewhere else in the system etc.

Clean and straighten the drain hose / clean the drain filter.

It is usually down to a bacteria build up between the drum and the tub. The majority of appliances that suffer form this have been used mainly on 40 degree washes and with a biological detergent.
The best way to get rid of this smell is to place two tablespoons of washing soda or soda crystals in the detergent drawer and then run the appliance empty on the 90 degree wash. You may have to repeat this treatment several times before the smell goes but it will go eventually. Hope you've cleaned out your filter.
You can give me a ‘very helpful’ rating for the free help, can't you. Thanks.

I HAVE AN LG TROMM WM3677HW AND I AM GETTING AN IE

IE= Inlet Error. I have struggled with this problem. After much trial and error it appears that it is due to my well water. People who have city water will probably not have this problem with this machine. Well water or hard water buyers beware. This machine is VERY much a primadonna princess capable of stopping your rinse cycle at the slightest imperfections. This is the Princess and the Pea of Washers... but I have a series of possible solutions that will have you appreciating her primadonna superiority once again.

Troubleshooting... Listen.... Does she sound like she is struggling and no water is coming in? If so then it isn't. The cycles will last forever as she makes all sorts of grunting noises. Something is preventing the water from coming in. It could also be that the pressure in to the washer is under 55 psi.

a. I have adjusted the pressure in the pumphouse to allow for minor fluctuations so that the machine will have at least 55 psi.

b. Take off the hot and cold inlet hose and clean the screen at the back of the washer. The two screens are supposed to come out of the male receptacles. They are fragile... beware. I use a squirt bottle/atomizer to clean these screens as mine chipped and will not budge.

c. You can add a screen just off the faucets so that you don't have to move the machine each and every time you get an IE error. This helps but does not solve.

d. I installed a faucet filter that I bought from Home Depot in the PVC sprinkler's section. They are made of a black plastic material and can easily cross thread, so be careful. They look about the size of a one liter container and unscrew midway to reveal a removable cylindrical mesh filter. This makes it possible to widen the surface area where tiny particles can be trapped without totally blocking flow to the inlet sensor. :-) When installing this make sure to completely rinse the hoses, and all screens coming into the machine. I took the shortcut first and thought my idea had failed only to discover that the screen behind the washer was partially blocked.

e. Periodically remove the filter and clean. Depending on the quality of your water, you may need to do this at all the points that have a screen.

I now have a screen washer between the sprinkler system filter and hose and the one that comes installed inside the male ends of the inlets for the water hoses. This has helped enormously.

f. Another possible offender is the soap and softener dispenser. To remove and clean press down on the plastic toggle piece on the soap side, the whole drawer should slide off and clean. Non-HE detergents and softeners can create a buildup of gooey gunk. Just clean it. Inside the drawer space you can clean to increase flow. I use baby wipes.

g. Make sure that the filter on the bottom is free from obstructions. If there is water in the drum, you will be flooded if you remove. This is a last resort after all the inlet lines have been cleaned and cleared.

Note: It doesn't take much to lower the flow of water to the point that this machine will not run. Since you cannot override the computer on it to run a spin cycle or even advance to remove water it can be highly frustrating. I've learned to obey my machine and just clear every last possible inlet.

Best of luck.

I have an lg washer wm2077cm and it goes off

Sometimes if the heavy bed spreads or curtain may cause this problem. Switch OFF machine manually and restart after the spin stops.
If problem repeats.
Check springs or shock obsorber inside the machine. The tub will be suspended with this.

Same problem with our LG Tromm

I had the same problem with my LG Tromm and was ready to throw away every one of my towels they were so rank smelling. As a last resort I filled the detergent area with one cup of white vinegar and ran a load through on hot. Then I washed them with just a tablespoon at most of detergent. They came out smelling fine, the mildew smell was completely gone. How long it will last, I don't know.

I also read somewhere recently that we all use way too much detergent in our washers and dishwashers. And surprise, surprise, the post went on to say that too much detergent in your towels/clothes can leave a musty, mildewy smell in them.

Now when I do laundry, no matter what it is, I use about 1/4 of the amount of detergent called for, even though the HE uses so much less. In all, maybe 1-2 Tbsp, and everything comes out just as clean.

Also, try using a product from Clorox just for front loading washing machines. It's Clorox Washing Machine cleaner...it seemed to help with the overall smell. And I agree, I will never buy this particular machine again.

How do i clean my filter for my lg washer

On the front bottom left is a small access paner about 5 x3 1/2 in. Gently pop it open from the top. Tou will see a black drain hose with a plug in the end. Place a pan on the floor and remove the plug and drain the resudial water from the machine until it stops. Then, unscrew the filter in the same opening counter clockwise to remove it. Clean and replace in the reverse order installing plug in hose and do not over tighten filter. Run a load and check for leaks and replace panel.

LG leaking from bottom, Not the filter clean-out.

Not necessary to blame LG, ALL of these front loaders are garbage. They were designed poorly and released too soon just to have a new gimmick.

When the spin cycle come on it shakes all over if

I am not a repair professional. I am a 78 year old man who has been making his own repairs for about 50 years. So the machine ID doesn't mean much to me. I came to fixya looking for a schematic for an really old AM/FM radio and just happened to see that more than 4,700 people were asking for help with a washer repair. I recently had a washer repair of my own and at that time I found an excellent video on youtube which showed me how to take my machine apart. This video (direct drive washer repair) made it possible for me to do my own repair. You probably don't have any idea of the wonderful help you can get from youtube videos. Your first stop should be at youtube. Just search for the help you need. You could search for "clothes dryer repair" or "clothes washer repair" or "dishwasher repair". If you are not able to view and/or download the videos, or after you've seen all you want to see, I suggest you go directly to www.applianceaid.com where they have very good step by step trouble shooting and repair information on washers, dryers. and dishwashers as well as other appliances. Another excellent site is www.acmehowto.com If you have a direct drive top load washer and need help taking it apart these youtube videos are wonderful help. I was so impressed with them that when I saw all these people needing help, I wanted to tell them about the videos. If you look at the back of your top load washer and the panel is solid (no small inspection plate to remove, which would indicate you have a v-belt drive) chances are you have a direct drive and this video (direct drive washer repair) is just what you need. After you've seen all the appropiate videos, or if you have a belt drive washer, you will probably still need help in determining what the trouble is and how to fix it. I suggest you go to www.applianceaid.com where they have very good trouble shooting and repair nformation on most washers and dryers, dishwashers and many other household appliances. I think you'll find what you need there. Another excellent site for DIY help is www.acmehowto.com Don't worry about the timer on a washer, they hardly ever go bad. I realize I haven't solved your problem for you, but I hope I have sent you where you can get help to solve the problem. Good luck with it.

How to clean pump filter on lg wm2688hwm

No, probably have a bad water pump, very common for this washer. I would pull the washer out, lean it against your wall, brace or block it up so you can crawl under it. You will see where the drain hose comes out of the bottom left of the drum and enters the drain filter. Remove the hoses and check for debris or clothes in the hoses or where the drum outlet is. If no restrictions then replace your water pump. Good Luck, Appliance Specialists
