I take it you mean you cleaned out mesh inserts in the entry side of the hot and cold water valves?Inside the valves are rubber diaphragms which when they age, perish......a bit like you and me!Provided voltage is being applied to the valves you will hear them "Buzz" when the time is for water to enter the machine.
