How do I link LG AKB73615337 Remote Control to my xfinity flex box?
The LG AKB73615337 remote control is designed specifically for LG TVs and may not be compatible with the Xfinity Flex box. However, you can try the following steps to see if it works:
- Ensure compatibility: Confirm that the LG remote control is compatible with the Xfinity Flex box by checking the list of supported devices in the remote control's user manual or by contacting LG customer support.
- Power on the Flex box: Make sure your Xfinity Flex box is powered on and connected to your TV.
- Activate pairing mode: Put the LG remote control into pairing mode by simultaneously pressing and holding the "Back" and "Home" buttons for a few seconds until the LED light on the remote starts blinking.
- Follow the Xfinity Flex box pairing instructions: Refer to the Xfinity Flex box's user manual or contact Xfinity customer support to find the specific instructions for pairing a remote control. This process may involve entering a pairing code or following a series of steps on the TV screen.
- Test the remote control: Once the pairing process is complete, test the LG remote control to see if it works with the Xfinity Flex box. Try navigating the menu, changing channels, adjusting volume, and performing other functions to ensure proper functionality.
If the LG remote control does not work with the Xfinity Flex box or if the pairing process is unsuccessful, it is recommended to use the original remote control that came with the Flex box or consider purchasing a universal remote control that is compatible with the Xfinity Flex box. Universal remote controls are designed to work with multiple devices and usually come with instructions for programming them to work with specific devices.
Remember to consult the user manuals of both the LG remote control and the Xfinity Flex box for specific instructions and contact customer support if you encounter any difficulties during the pairing process.

I assume you changed all the LED strips when you changed the bad ones, NEVER replace part of them, if you didn't replace them all, open the set up again and replace the ones that weren't replaced the first time and all will be well.
Is about TV LG 65UN8500AUJ
Hi Jimmy, it's unfortunate that you threw boards at the set without doing some troubleshooting, you have bad LED backlights, it's a common issue for the model set you have, new strips can be ordered from shopjimmy.com and installed yourself, use extreme care when handling the panel.
I have a oneforall remote urc 3050B00 I have a LG smart TV that I need the code for the remote
Here are the steps to program your OneForAll URC 3050B00 remote to control your LG smart TV:
Turn on your LG smart TV.
Press and hold the "TV" button on your OneForAll remote until the LED light on the remote turns on and stays on.
Enter the 4-digit code for LG TVs. The most common codes for LG TVs are 0030, 0056, 0178, 1265, and 1398, but you can also find a complete list of codes on the OneForAll website or in the manual that came with your remote.
Press the "Power" button on the OneForAll remote. If the TV turns off, the code has been successfully entered. If the TV does not turn off, repeat steps 2-4 with a different code until you find the correct one.
If none of the codes work, you can also try the code search function on your OneForAll remote to automatically find the correct code:
Turn on your LG smart TV.
Press and hold the "TV" button on your OneForAll remote until the LED light on the remote turns on and stays on.
Press and hold the "SET" button on the remote until the LED light blinks twice.
Press the "9" button on the remote. The LED light should blink twice again.
Point the remote at your TV and press the "Power" button repeatedly until the TV turns off.
Press the "OK" button on the OneForAll remote to save the code.
I hope this helps you program your OneForAll remote to control your LG smart TV!

My lg 65 smart tv appear to have few thin horizontal black line at the bottom screen that flickering...what can I do?
1. Check to see if there is any type of damage to the screen, such as a scratch or crack.
2. Try adjusting the picture settings on the TV, such as brightness and contrast.
3. Check the connections between the TV and the external devices it is connected to, such as a DVD player or cable box.
4. Try unplugging the TV for a few minutes, then plugging it back in to see if the lines go away.
5. If none of the above steps work, it may be necessary to contact the manufacturer for a repair or replacement.
I have a LG DVD and Video Set Recorder Model RC897T, I connected to my Vizio Smart TV using HDMI, when I play VCR or DVD I have audio but no video, any advice would be appreciated
The most likely issue is the output resolution on the RC397T. It could be set to 1080p (progressive) and needs to be 1080i (interlaced). I've seen this happen with other set top boxes. On the front panel of the DVD/VCR recorder, there is a button labeled Res. It's to the left of the USB port and to the right of the DVD/VCR selection button. Each press of the button will change to a different resolution: 1080p, 1080i, 720p, 480p, 480i for HDMI. (The resolution button also changes the component out resolution between 480i and 480p. You may need to step through these choices, as well, even if the component out isn't in use.)
Due to some issues with resetting the resolution, you may need to turn off the DVD recorder and possibly the TV after some of the resolution changes to see any video output change.
I hope this helps. The user manual for the RC897T is available from the support page: https://www.lg.com/us/support/product/lg-RC897T.BUSALLK . The manual link is on the right hand side of the page. My browser gives the direct link to the manual as https://gscs-b2c.lge.com/downloadFile?fileId=KROWM000185603.pdf . See page 60 for the front panel button descriptions.

LG 42LB5610.ats Tv won't turn on with flashing red light at on off button and the optical cable output
This model LG set had a really high LED backlight failure but in your case I'd look towards bad caps as we have seen this a few times in our shop, it's the 4 in a bunch close to the connector that goes to the main board that gives issues, you can buy them for a few bucks and solder them in if you have the equipment, however a replacement power supply is quite inexpensive, it's also possible you have main board issues but more likely the power supply.
