Burners kick on for 10 seconds then kicks off will keep repeating this
Hello, sounds like the flame sensor needs to be cleaned with steel wool. The flame sensor is a metal rod located on the opposite side of the igniter that senses the burner flame and will keep the Furnace running, what happens is the rod builds up oxidation and then cannot sense the burner flame and will shut the burners down and keep repeating. Just remove the sensor and clean with steel wool and reinstall.
Outside fan will not start by itself, if I turn it
Probably a simple cheap part called a capacitor. Sometimes you can tell right away by the looks of the cap sometimes not. If it is puffy or leaking that is probably it though>
It should have a slight audible snap when discharged if it is good. Be careful it will bite ya.
Use some HVAC approved zoom oil to lube the motor
Wiggle the shaft. If is has any lateral movement or up and down movement at all the motor bearing is shot. If you need further help, reach me via phone at

How do I check the
Hello, in order to check freon level you will need a set of gauges. The water at the bottum is aresult of a cracked or rusted condensate pan or a clogged condensate drain, try using a shop vac to clean any sludge in the condensate line.
The fan does not run when the unit is turned on
Hi not know if you are talking of the indoor blower or outdoor condenser fan motor, on either one you need to check the run capacitor first. On the indoor unit it is located right next to the motor. Small, about 5" tall, and 3" wide with 2 to 3 wires coming out the top. Check to see if it has oil leaking from it, see if it is swollen and deformed looking, if so, its faulty. You will need to remove it noting how the wires go, and take it to a appliance parts house to get a new one. If it looks ok, feel of the motor to see if it is hot. Be careful not to burn yourself. Shut off power and see if you can spin it by hand. If it is real hot or hard to spin, the motor is faulty. You will need to have it replaced, or if you are able, you can try to do this yourself. I would have it done. More then likely, the motor is bad.

Should there be a pvc
YES, this is a major concern. There should be 2 PVC pipes going outside. One is for fresh air to feed the burner and the other is for the exhaust.

I think from the erratic way that your furnace is functioning that you will need to replace the control board to solve this problem. Ihave had this happen several times and I would recommend that you check all connection on control board, gas valve ,induced draft motor, flame sensor connection and the sensor itself. You can carefully clean the sensor with some fine sandpaper. Also to be on the safe side I would check to make sure that wires and connections to the thermostat are good.
Have you tried shutting electrical power off to your furnace after the first time it fails to cycle properly. Try that and turn power off and thermostat down for about five mins, then try again.
I think you will end up back at the control board but you can try other thimgs first andthey don't cost anything. Thank you.
Heater only blows cold air. I have a Weather King
Toget proper heat, keep your temp setting at 30+ degree and also mode in "heat"position. If still no heat, check your heating sensor for closed circuit by anOHMs metre. It it's with RV, check power to RV.If it's with heatingelement check power to element. If power is there but still no heat meanselement defective. Replace new heating element. Thanks.
I have a weather king model 90RJ - first time I've
When the furnace first comes on there is a induced draft motor that should come on first but that forces air up the exhaust or flue, not into supply air on ductwork. It is not unusual for cold air to be blown out when burner first turns blower motor on. This should last for a short period of time, no more than a min. or two. You can watch furnace cycle by removing top front cover, I should back up here and ask is this a gas or electric unit. If it is gas you should be able to watch burner flames for a short time before blower comes on. I really need more information so I can try to ascertain what is going on. Wish I could be more help. Thank you.
Outside runs fine but inside squirrel cage motor
Go to the thermostat and place the fan switch in "on" and see if the fan runs. If it doesn't then check the circuit breakers. If the circuit breakers are on turn off the power and spin the fan by hand to see if it turns freely. If it does then check the fan capacitor. Let me know what you find.
