mabye there is something keepin the door open, thats usually why most washers dont start

Thanks to the different postings on the net about a E20 error code I took apart my washer’s drain system ATF7000 to find. A pare of little girls underpants, one hair band, one plastic green gem, a golf ball sized wad of wrappers/stickers/???, and almost two dollars in coins. All caught up in the plastic strainer located inside the black rubber boot found on the bottom of the tub leading into the drain pump.
Here is how I did it: After emptying the washer of sloppy contents, I sucked as much of the water out with a shop-vac. I then turned the washer onto it’s left side gently using a couple of towels as a cushion (unplugging the washer and hoses first). From the bottom and back panel you can access the drain hose/pump/coin catch. With a pair of pliers you can remove the clamp holding smaller end of the rubber coin catch to the tub, with a Phillips screw driver you can remove the larger clamp of the rubber coin catch to the tub. From the back panel you again use your pliers to remove the clamp to the drain line, and finally with a Philips screw driver remove the two screws holding the pump to the bottom of the washer. Oh yah, do not forget to unplug the wire from the pump. Now pull the pump out with the black rubber boot still attached. Mark the orientation of the pump to the boot with a sharpie pen, and remove the last clamp. Now look inside the black rubber boot and gently remove the plastic basket inside, there you will find the treasures that just wasted the last hour of your time. Now reveres those steps, reinsert the half washed clothes, and enjoy your new machine.

it might be trouble on clog drain hose

Check the rinse hold has not been accidentally pressed . If not then you need to drain from the bottom plug and check penny trap.if that's clear it may be the pump or hoses that have clogged or failed.reset machine to off and try selecting spin only.

If the reddish oily liquid is coming from the bottom of the appliance, it could be grease coming from the motor area. Open the lower panel and search for a trouble shooting tech manual. There inside the you'll find the error codes.

Probability is you have a blocked pump. That humming noise you are hearing on the spin, is the pump motor polling as it cannot turn. The machine will not spin until the water is out. This is the safety function of the pressure switch. Centrifugal force would otherwise cause the water to be forced out of the machine from places like the dispenser draw and flood your laundry. too many possibilities, maybe best to call a repair guy. possible short circuit in any one of many sub-curcuits.

E21 is telling you that it has not drained the water out. You may have something stuck in your drain pump.

more than likely the pump is clogged if you pull the the washer out away from the wall and then lean it back to get under it there is a hole to access the under side you can reach through to the pump then disconnect the large hose that goes from the tub to pump reach down inside of this hose remove the cup that has debris in it and clear it out remove the debris and reassemble the washer
