Frigidaire ATF6000ES Front Load Washer - Page 6 Questions & Answers
The washer continues to fill until it flood out
Good Morning Friend,
I understand that your Frigidaire washer, model# ATF6000ES, continues to fill with water until it floods out. I suggest resetting your appliance, by either unplugging it or shutting the power off at the circuit breaker, for 3-5 minutes. When power has been restored, select any cycle and start it. If your washer is still overfilling and flooding out, I suggest contacting your local authorized technician for further assistance. They will be able to diagnose your appliance and determine what is causing it to overfill and flood. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your refrigerator status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful.
-Best Regards-

Maytag 2000 series error codes
I have a Maytag Maxima frontload washer that was getting these two error codes. I found in my case it was due to the tub not draining water as quickly expected. On my model there were two screws at the bottom of the front panel (one on each side towards the floor) Once these screws were removed and my husband tilted the washer up I was able to get my hand behind the panel and unscrew the filter cap that is located towards the middle at the bottom. It is a large plastic circle that you unscrew. With your hand remove any gunk or objects blocking the filter (usually filled with gunk) screw the filter cap back in, screw the front panel screws in and try to run another load. I have had to do this twice so far. You would think if the filter needs to be cleaned out every year or so they would make it more easily accessible.

My frigidaire atfb6000se1 is making a grinding noise pretty much the whole time its on...
Good Morning Friend,
I understand that you are hearing a constant grinding sound while your Frigidaire washer, model# ATFB6000ES1, is running. There could be a possibility that your washer is overloaded. Do not overload washer. Stop washer and reduce load. If this does help with the grinding sound, I suggest resetting your appliance. You can do this by either, unplugging it or shutting the power off at your homes circuit breaker, for 3-5 minutes. . I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your washer status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful.

Washer will not go into final spin
Using a multi meter check for continuity the door switch, which when bad may not allow agitation or spin. The lid switch assembly can fail either mechanically or electrically.
Check the clutch, brake assembly and transmission, one way to check for slipping is to get under the machine after a spin cycle ( this is if u get a lil spin but not much leaving clothes still wet) mix in a spray bottle a lil water and some dish detergent, then spray it on the clutch assembly ( the metal round pc. Connected to the tranny) if it sizzles and steams up then u know its bad and slipping. Another way to check clutch if u get no spin at all? Is to take it out and use ur hand to try and turn the inner spring assembly pushing it around the inside? If its very easy, it BAD should be hard to push by hand.
Next check the motor coupler which engages the tub and tranny to the motor. ( if its bad u usually get no wash or spin or very little of either)
Next check for a loose, worn or broken belt if belt driven.
On some front load models u may need to check the STATOR assembly.
The stator is essentially one half of a motor, it interacts with the tub by creating a strong electro-magnet. If the stator burns out the washer won't spin or agitate. Check the stator for continuity. This part is often misdiagnosed.

No seems to be getting in, wash comes out damp n dirty
Is this a new washer or has there been a change in it's functionality?
Front loading washers do use very little water. One must be careful not overload them and also to be sure to use the detergent that is made for them. Can you see the clothes and water sloshing around? Try a small load with HE detergent and make sure to use the very small amount recommended and let me know if you still have a problem.
Ltf2940fe
Hi Kimberly, this is AP. Thank you for your post.
I understand you are having trouble with your Frigidaire front load washer, model LTF2940FE, not draining or spinning. There are a few possibilities that could be causing this to happen.
Overuse of detergent can result in oversudsing then restricting the tub from turning properly and not spinning out. You can attempt running a cold water rinse cycle to get rid of suds if this is case.
Another possibility could be that the drain hose is too long or restricted. If the drain pump makes a humming noise there could be a restriction in the drain line. Confirm that your standpipe (located in the rear of the washer) height is not higher than 96" and not below 24". Lastly, if the drain pump does not make a humming noise once the washer is in the spin cycle a defective timer or drain pump could be the cause of your washer not draining or spinning
If you can determine that oversudsing, a too long or clogged drain hose is not the root of the problem I would recommend contacting an authorized technician. Contacting an authorized technician can ensure no troubleshooting step has been missed. Parts can be costly and if the problem is precisely diagnosed, it can save you a lot of time and funds. I have provided a link below that will assist you in locating and authorized technician in your area if needed. I hope this information proves helpful for you.

Load noise and will not spin out clothes
Good Morning PJ, this is AP with Electrolux.
Thank you for submitting your question concerning your Frigidaire front load washer, ATF6000ES. Typically if your washer is making a banging noise it could mean one or two problems, but primarily the tub is off balance or your washer is not level. In this regard, since the tub is spinning it would be advisable to reach out to a local service provider to properly diagnose your washer. You can often locate a qualified tech through the manufacturer website.

Washer error on rinse cycle
E11 means the Fill time is too long. There are a whole bunch of tests to perform - but the easiest is to replace the hoses going into the machine - I had the same problem and tested my hoses - they looked fine - but my machine would do this every so often - turns out my hoses had "check valves" that were a safety design to prevent freeflowing incase one burst.....well the valve was going bad. Replaced both hoses - never had a problem again. But anyways... here are the other tests...
1. Is the incoming water flow normal?
Yes. Go to step (4). No. Go to step (2)
2. Are the incoming water faucets turned completely on?
No. Turn water faucets on. Yes. Go to step (3).
3. Is the incoming water pressure above (30) psi.
No. Have customer correct pressure problem.
Yes. Check for kinked or blocked incoming water hoses, clean
the incoming water screens. If problem still remains, replace the
water inlet valve assembly.
4. Does the fill water continue enter the washer?
Yes. Go to step (5). No. Go to step (6)
5. Remove power from the washer. Did the water fill
stop?
Yes. Go to step (6) No. Replace the inlet valve assembly.
6. Good models, check the pressure switch.
Pressure switch checks good. Go to step (8).
Pressure switch checks bad. Replace pressure switch.
7. Better models, replace the pressure sensor.
If this did not correct the problem, go to step 8.
8. Replace the control board.
Good Luck!!!
GOOD LUCK!!!!

Remove door gasket
There is a spring that goes all the way around the door, just under the edge of the gasket. If you remove that spring starting at the bottom of the door, you should be able to remove the gasket for replacement

How do I check the belts or springs holding the washer tub
to check the belt or Air shock , its easy to remove the rear access panel , you can have a look for shock and motor & belt but there are a lot of reason for your complaint for doesn't spin out water and noisy when spinning it may be have kinked in the drain hose or the spin start before pumping water out properly leads to load unevenly distributed in the movement of the drum, so i believe that your problem in pumping the water out.
