Washer keeps cycling after wash is complete

Hello friend, thank you for the post!

I understand that your Frigidaire washer, ATF6000ES, continues to cycle after your wash is complete. Sounds like it could possibly be an issue with your control panel or sensor either one may not be communicating that the wash cycles have been completed. Since it maybe either one of these underlying issues, I would recommend having a technician come out to the home to diagnose and repair your washer. I hope this is helpful. -Matt

Good Afternoon Friend, I understand that the door sensor goes off on your Frigidaire Affinity washer, model# LAFW7000LW0, when the door is shut. What does the code on frigdiaire front loader?

Hello Friend, this is Z. I appreciate your post! I understand your Frigidaire washer is showing error code E20. First, check the drain hose for any restrictions or kinks. If you have check the hose and it appears to be clear and free, then potentially the underlying issue may be the main control board or pump. Generally it is a good idea to have a professional take a look at it to get to the root cause. Cost of parts and technical expertise entailed in these types of replacements can be a bit tricky.

I have the atf6000fso front load washer it does not spin

Good Morning Friend, I understand your Frigidaire washer, model# ATF6000FS0, is not spinning. Try adding 1 or 2 similar items to help balance the load, as the load might be too small. If that does not work, I suggest resetting your appliance, by either unplugging it or shutting the power off at your home's circuit breaker, for 3-5 minutes. Sometimes there can be a miscommunication between the different boards inside your appliance. Restore power and start any cycle. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your appliances status has changed successfully. Frigidaire code e21

Good Morning Friend, I understand that you are receiving an E21 code on your Frigidaire washer, model# ATF6000ES. The E21 code means that water is not pumping out fast enough. Check your drain hose to make sure that it is not kinked or clogged in any way. Also, make sure that your drain pipe is not clogged. After checking these, you will want to reset you appliance. You will do this by either unplugging it or shutting the power off at your home's circuit breaker, for 3-5 minutes. Restore power and run any cycle. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your washer status has changed successfully. Removing outerseal on my frigidaire front load w as sher

Are you asking about the rubber door boot/seal??? The outer edge is held on by a spring loaded wire that runs around the door opening. You can see it if you lift the outer edge of the boot close to the painted cabinet front. The inner edge of the boot is help on by a very big hose type clamp. Some models you can get to it through the opening after you remove the outer wire. Some models need the washer top removed to get to the clamp screw.

E62

Good Morning John, thank you for your post! I see that your Frigidaire washer is continuously beeping and displaying error code E62. However, I show that the correct error code is EB2. Typically, EB2 indicates that the incoming line voltage is above 130VAC. Please verify that the power supply is correct. You may also disconnect the power to your washer for up to ten minutes by flipping the circuit breaker off and back on. This often clears most false error codes. If the error code does not clear, it would be advisable to contact a professional the since the main control board is possibly faulty.

Run diagnostic test gltf2940es0

if the drain pump is bad or clogged and can't drain the water it won't spin until water is drained.pump number 137221600,it's around 110 dollars, but first get a shop vac, pull out the drain hose from the washer and connect the shop vac to the hose and vac out all the water, you first have to remove the bottom front panel to get at the pump, remove the hoses going to the pump and have the vac ready to clean up any water that still might be in there, then check the pump and see if anything is in there,i've found coins that get into the pump or other debries and clean it out of the pump, then check the rubber boot on the hose, make sure nothing is in there and check the other hose, you can set the shop vac on blow and blow through the drain hose to make sure that's clear, remove any junk you find in any of the hoses and pump, reconnect the pump and hoses, put some water in then set it to drain and spin or rinse and spin,if the water drains and then it spins you're all set if not the pump could be bad,one more thing if the drum doesn't move you could just have a bad door switch, this is the easiest part to fix and i always have a door switch for frigidaire washer, remove the spring the holds the boot seal on.remove the rubber boot on the door switch side, take out the screws that hold the door switch in,and replace it,run it,if the drum starts to move then drain and spin it was the door switch, any error codes come up? good luck, have any questions let me know and hopefully i can help you

Code in digital display does not have a E in front of it

Please let me know if you can get a number after this - if so what number shows up? Model differences: • Better models have a digital readout display • Good models do not have a digital readout display In the Better Models line, the failure codes will appear in the display as an E followed by two numbers, a number and a letter or two letters. The control will beep and the Door Lock, Wash, Rinse, Final Spin and Control indicator lights will flash. Example: E14. To stop the flashing and beeping, the customer may touch the Pause Cancel button. The error code remains stored in the control but once the problem is corrected, it does not effect the operation of the washer. If the failure is something that the customer can correct (such as the water faucets being turned off), the washer will operate normally the next time it is started. In the Good Models line, the control signals the failure code by flashing the five indicator lights of Door Lock, Wash, Rinse, Final Spin and Control for the first number or letter after the E and the Start indicator light for the second number or letter after the E. When a failure occurs, the washer stops or pauses and the control beeps and flashes the five indicator lights to tell the customer that a failure has occurred. To recall an error code, • Wake the machine by pressing any button • Wait 5 seconds • Press and hold the Start and Pause Cancel buttons simultaneously • All LEDs will go blank and after a few seconds the control will signal the stored code using audible beeps and blinking LEDs. The control will repeatedly signal the code, as long as the Start and Pause Cancel buttons are pressed. A two-second pause between repeats affords you the ability to make accurate counts to identify the correct error codes. Please Note the following...... on a small number of washers with serial number prefix XC4, if the previous procedure does not perform as specified, follow the option below: • Follow all previous steps but instead of pressing Start and Pause Cancel buttons, press and hold Options and Pause Cancel buttons. If the washer is a Better Model, the error code will appear in the display. Troubleshoot problem by using charts on the following pages. If the washer is a Good Model, the five indicator lights of Door Lock, Wash, Rinse, Final Spin and Control will flash the number of times for the first digit of the code and the Start indicator light will flash the number of times for the second digit. Take separate counts of each indicator light, then repeat to confirm in order to be accurate in identifying the proper error code. The code is obtained by counting the number of times the lights flash. Example E24: The five indicator lights would flash twice indicating the 2 and the START indicator light will flash four times indicating the 4. The five indicator lights and the START indicator light start flashing at the same time. The control will pause for 2 seconds, then repeat the code as long as the two buttons are pressed and held. Note: A letter appearing in the code stands for a number higher than nine: A = 10 B = 11 C = 12 D = 13 E = 14 F = 15 Example Code F1: the first digit would be 15 and the second digit would be 1. If this code would appear on a washer in the Good model line, the five indicator lights would blink fifteen times and the START indicator light would blink once.

My control panel keeps lighting up on its own.

Good Afternoon Marleen, I understand the control panel on your Frigidaire washer, model# ATF6000ES, keeps lighting up. I also see that you have to keep hitting the cancel button and are wondering if it is a safety issue. I wouldn't think it would be a safety issue. I suggest resetting your appliance, by either unplugging it or shutting the power off at your home's circuit breaker, for 3-5 minutes. Restore power and start any cycle. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your appliances status has changed successfully.
