Olevia 227-S11 driver for windows xp

I had the same problem. Install powerstrip for free from download.com. It will now trick your pc into letting you change your resolution from the control panel options.

No Cable Detected?

hello,

Is the TV still warranty? If there is warranty then avail it first so that no risk at your side.

If ever there is no warranty at all then you can open your TV back and verify the loss connection connecting your cable. This symptom also cause by TV tuner error and need to be checked personally by a qualified electronic technician.

Says no signal when switched to hdmi when there is one.

My best guess would be that the resolution settings on your reciever are set too high(It's putting out an HD signal the TV can't display) Plug in through Composite or component the the box and resolve this through you Cable box's menu, then reconnect the HDMI cable.

No sound

Are you using the internal tuner or an external source such as a dvd player or cable box? if its an external box of some sort make sure the audio cables are connected, typically the red an white ones. sounds silly I know to forget such a thing but I have seen pros forget such things.

Black rectangle on screen

Try pressing the "View" button on the remote control a couple times -- it sounds like you have the picture-in-picture mode turned on but with nothing showing on the second input.

Olevia LT27HVX 27 just blue screen

I just had this same problem over the weekend. Is your TV hooked up via HDMI?? Mine was and i've been having problems with the tv image shrinking whenever i turn on the tv, so i would have to change the channel 1 or 2 times for the image to come up normally. On Saturday I went to change the channel and then all of a sudden I hearld this loud pop and when the image came on it was just a sky blue screen, I couldnt see anything, but I could hear the channel. So I disconnected the HDMI and hooked up the tv with component cables I had and now it works fine. I ordered a new HDMI cable just to see if it will work again. If not, i'm calling Olevia.

Power stopped on my new Oleiva 747i

keep in mind the original 37hvs didn't have optical audio out. just pretend like it's not there.

also, there really won't be any more support for the current gen tvs. they way they are now is the way they will be. all focus is on the new lines coming out, and they are much improved.

TV volume suddenly low

I had the same problem and had to fix with a work around. I take the audio directly from my cable box and pipe it in to an external 'theater in a box' system.

Do you have a universal remote code?

TV Tuner

You need to go to the setup and let the TV autoprogram channels into its memory. This is a benifit in two ways because for one the set does the programming for you but, at the same time will activly search for digital channels on your cable system or antenna which ever you are using.

OLEVIA TV 227V

I have an Olevia also and it's the same way. I spent about an hour and a half on hold for tech support only to be told, "That's the way it is." Oh, he also said, "Thanks for buying our product. Happy day to you!" So every time I turn it on I think, "Happy day to you!" and by the time I'm done laughing the logo's gone! Hope this helps. ''HAPPY DAY TO YOU!"

COLOR

Are you using the component inputs from the DVD player (blue, green, red)? HDMI? If using the component cable, it sounds like one is in the wrong slot. If using HDMI, try looking at the setup in the DVD menu to make sure it is using the correct output. I had a samsung DVD player that kept trying to use the component output even though I told it to use the HDMI and my picture looked red. Let me know.
