The lid/blender blades is stuck on to the jar.

Apply vinegar to a rag and a couple of q-tips - use the rag for any exposed areas, and use the q-tips to let vinegar drop into the hard-to-reach areas. You tried everything else I would have suggested.

If all else fails, break any of the parts on this list an reorder them :-) :

Back to Basics Blender Express won't come on

I generally agree with Guest's suggestion - it is FAR cheaper to replace this blender than to repair it, but you can call the manufacturer at 866-290-1851 to explore your options.

My gasket is missing from my 5500 back to basics blender. where can I purchase one.

I would look up the manufacturers address and phone number (listed on the I.D. tag on the machine) on the computer, give them a call, and they should be able to ship you one. God bless your efforts.

Hi,

I contacted the Focus Electric Company which has owned Back to Basics now.
They guarenteed to replace the motor if it was purchased within a year.
I sent them the receipt and they confirmed that they ll send me the same within 7-10 days.

Durabrand Blender TSK-9368AP. How can I get a replacement pitcher for my TSK-9368AP blender?

Jimmy LavinderYou are tagging a dormant unanswered post that is 10 years old!The section up at the top is for you to ASK the Original Poster a QUESTION before giving him an ANSWER. I have a Waring WSB33 stick blender blade does not turn

Actually I do repair these stick types all of the time. The trick is getting the head off. Then its a simple Process to remove the shaft and clean inside and add bearings or bushings of needed. After removing the blade and blade holder, Remove the coupling at the top, then remove the 4 screws. After that you will see a aluminum washer. Stop here. To remove the head assembly, you need to make a large slide hammer like a split bearing. Lead or steel is good. Or a circle of cement 8 inches in Diameter and 4 inches thick. The inside hole should be as close to the diameter of the mixer shaft as possible. Cast it in two halves so when assembled it forms a ring around the shaft. Wrap this with lots of duct tape. also place a ring of duct tape around the plastic head where the cement will touch it. now wearing gloves, grab the metal base (or secure it to something with a chain or in the fork of a tree). Once secured, slide the weight quickly against the plastic head assembly. After a few hits the head should pop out. Then remove the shaft, replace the o-rungs in the center bearing, clean the unit & reassemble.Use Silicone as sealant when reassembling the body. There is no need to remove the lower seal assembly but clean it with a small bottle brush. I have included pictures of this procedure but im too ugly to make a You Tube Video. ;) These pictures are from my teaching tool and were cut to show anatomy. My B and D BL5000 blender doesn't stop when I press the STOP button. The motor goes when the cord is plugged in. Is this repairable? How? I have looked at the screws to get at it

the lock/unlock button on the Cuisinart Smart Stick CSB-75 blender may not stay locked when pressed in. The solution is to hold the blender in the palm of your dominant hand, press the low or high button and hold, then push and release the lock button on top with a finger on your other hand. The blender motor should start as soon as you push the lock button down and stay running until you release the high or low button. However, fix.com offers OEM Black and Decker blender parts and accessories, including rubber gaskets, jar bases, measuring cup lid inserts, and blade assemblies. You may want to check if the parts you need are available and replaceable. If you are unable to repair the blender yourself, you can contact Black and Decker customer service for assistance. They may be able to provide you with additional information on how to repair your blender or direct you to a local repair shop.

What is the best blender for making smoothies with frozen fruit?

This looks Spammy, but the answer is Vitamix.Yogurt or liquid first and fruit on top and let rip!A blender is the only machine in your kitchen that can produce a beverage from chunks of ice and fruit in less than 60 seconds. And no other blender we've tested since 2012 can reliably make silky soups, spoon-thick smoothies, and stable emulsifications like the Vitamix 5200. Yes, this model is pricey, but we think its powerful motor, nuanced controls, and long-lasting reliability make it worth the investment...
