Hoover FloorMATE 3000 won't dispense cleaning solution.
I had the same problem with my Hoover Floormate H3000 and found the solution elsewhere on this website. Try doing a search for Hoover Floormate H3000. The posted solution is basically as follows:
Remove the liquid dispenser tank and set it aside. Look into the cavity of the machine where the tank attaches and find the plastic "plunger" piece (the one on my machine is a blue/grey color) that is surrounded by a black rubber circle. Put a small drop of hot glue on the tip of this plastic "plunger" piece and let it harden. Replace the liquid dispenser tank and try the machine again. My machine dispensed liquid properly after this fix-it.
I really appreciate the poster who provided this simple solution!
HOOVER FLOOR MATE WILL NOT SUCTION WATER
There are no belts. If it makes the noise with the brush assembly removed the motor drive assembly is bad. It ia a complete assembly that can easily be replace by a repairman or ypouself if you are cleaver with tools. Good luck.

Our Hoover floor mate won't **** up the water.
you will need to replace the squeege that is located on the nozzle. 3 screws will take it off. you can get this at a vac shop or order it from the company, filter may also need to be changed
Hoover floor mate h3000 will not suction water from floor when cleaning
Your collection canister may not be positioned tight enough in its place ment site. Tip machine back using foot pedal (as if you were going tio start using machine to clean) Insert collection canister (bottom container, then insert top canister with solution. The two canisters must be flush with machine side seams and must sit in position tightly. This is sometimes very tricky and may take a little elbow grease to make it click into place. Hope this helps
Water dispenser not dispensing
Remove soap tank. Using a razor blade cut off 1/4 inch (or less) of a hair color applicator plastic bottle. Insert onto plunger pin (surrounded by a black o ring) and replace soap tank. If water is coming out shave more from the applicator tip. The glue gun tip did not work for me but this solution did!
My floormate leaks water on
Ok when replacing the Spring stem and rubber seal. Put the spring on the stem set it in the hole of the solution tank carefully hold it steady then pull the stem out slip the rubber seal onto the stem with the cupped side facing down toward inside of the tank press it over the rim on the stem so it stays in place then take the stem slip it into the solution tanks hole inside the spring and press the rubber seal into the inside of the tank.
I posted this so no one else goes threw the trouble I went through until I figured it out for my self I lost the parts and did not remember how the thing went back together and could find no help anywhere. Good Luck, Ray
Hoover floormate will not dispense solution
this is the original Hoover Floormate, and may have a few different things that may be wrong. First check the fresh water tank is seated or installed properly. Second, it may be the pin on the actual unit itself that is not pushing in the plunger (located on the water tank) all the way to release the solution. Check for clogs above the brush block assembly the small holes may be plugged with dried sop solution. I’m happy to assist further over the phone at

Hoover Floormate H3000
buy a new solution tank. the problem might be that your not rinsing the tank with clear water after use and the soap hardens on the release button of the tank.
