The orifice is clogged. It should unscrew and get a fine piece of wire (.050") and you may see some debris come out of it

Several things can cause this problem. My best advice is go to www.desatech.com download your Owners Manual & print it (if you don't still have yours) by entering the Model Number. The Trouble Shooting Guide in the manual is worth it's weight in gold.

Good luck.

Reddy Heater was once made by DESA International. However, they are now out of business. But, depending on how all your heater is, the Owners Manual may still be available at www.desatech.com. You'll just need to do a little searching for it. When found, you can download and print.

Heater has intermediate flame only

Oil/kero heater right? Did you check the fuel? If the fuel is okay....the nozzle may need changed. If the nozzle is okay check the electric eye.

Hope this helps you...Jim...Please leave a comment

Lights while holding primer/pilot button then runs

Turn off the propane tank and disconnect the heater hose from the tank. Wait 5 minutes and reconnect the heater hose/regulator to the propane t. Turn the tank valve on very, very slowly until it's completely open again. Now, try lighting the heater. If you are using a 20lb LP grill type tank, that should solve your problem.

Hope that helped.

I clean the hole thing

Just a note, the Kerosene ones OFTEN have the fuel filter get plugged and until it is cleaned/replaced the unit will not stay lit. There are many models of these so I can't give you more info pertaining to your particular unit. Some have a fuel filter in the tank and others around the fuel pump.

I Have an old M30

The line from the pump to the nozzel should go inthe front fitting and the one from the tank goes to the backfitting. If either of these have cracks in them or do not fit tightly over the fittings it will not build enough pressure and burn. You may also check the filters mainly the output filter as this will also effect pump pressure. I don't have as much experiance with that brand so I can't be sure exactly about the pressure. I think it should be 3.5 to 4 Psi. If this doesn't help please email me and I will find out for sure.

I Have an old M30 REDDY HEATER, It won't start,

Depending on how old your heater is, you may bay be able to download the Owners Manual from the Reddy Heater Home Page website. Reddy Heater was made by DESA International (now out of business). Another company bought the Reddy Heater part of the business, so they are still being manufactured.
