Smoke coming from inside drum after spin cycle

The noise would possibly indicate that your drum bearings are on their way out, this would more than likely mean a new spider assembly, tripod in shape and houses the bearings through the drum, as well. They come in kits or bearing assembly alone for various prices, usually around 40 pounds for the kit but it would be a very difficult job if you are not familiar with this type of work, bearing extractor kits are best used but more cost, drum seals may also be needed.

On a hotpoint aqualtis aqxx149pm i get error code f8 flashing

Hi.
F8 means that heater relay cannot be activated, you need to call an engineer.
Could be expensive, possibly a new control board needed

Washer emitting burning smell and smoke on fast spin

Yes, the heating element is coming on when it shouldn't. A likely cause is the pressure pot (Level sensor sender unit) being blocked with sludge. You'll find this under the machine, either screwed to the RH side of the tub, near to the front of the machine secured by three Philips screws, or attached to the side of the big hose that goes from the tub to the pump, secured by a Jubilee clip, underneath the machine. disconnect the power and remove the pressure pot, in both cases it's a long rigid white plastic tube, from one end of which comes a narrow flexible plastic hose which goes up to the top of the cabinet and is attached to the pressure switch itself. This tube is likely to have a load of muck in it, as its bottom end. Clean this out, and if your element didn't burn out, then everything should now be fine.

My Hotpoint WMA35 leaks water

The inlet water solenoid valve is faulty and must be replaced. usually it's right under the top cover where the inlet hose enters the machine. An easy DIY repair but remember to disconnect the electricity and water supply first.

Mine says f-08

  • F08 - Heater relay cannot be activated
  • A thing to try is switching it off at plug and unplugging it for 5 mins to reset the machine then plug it back in and start a cycle and see if it comes back if it dose looks like you need to get the engineer out. hope this helps.

How do i change a door seal on a wma35 hotpoint

it can be changed through the porthole itself tho i find it easier myself to remove the front of machine as everything is easilly accesable that way ... once the bezzel has been removed the front is held by 4 self tappers remove these and lift front upwards to remove it from holding tags .. the seal itself is held by a large metal band you will see this quite clearly now ...

How do i get to the filter on my aquarius wma30

You can try it by hand. Peep through the little pipe. You will find filter. You have to pull it out. put it back after cleaning. Do not forget to put rubber washer. After closing if you find water leak, run few length of teflon tape on the thread and tight.

The top off Hotpoint WMA35 washing machine?

Located at the front end of the top cover, are 2 plastic covers, prise them out with a small screw driver or something similar, and inside are 2 torx screws, get a torx screwdriver, and undo the 2 screws, if tyou don't have the correct screwdriver, you may be able to undo them with a small screwdriver.
Give the top a good hard push towards the rear, and it should come off..

My waterpump clicks (turning the impellor by hand

The clicking sound you refer to is normal, but a noisy pump indicates a worn pump, so I would advise you to replace the pump.
Also, remove the large black hose fastened to bottom of drum, and remove and clean the plastic filter inside the hose.
Hope this helps with your problem.
Please rate my solution.
Thankyou.
