Cannot adjust flame on gas burner
Is this lp or natural gas? The screw you turned adjusts the low flame only. Did this just start, or has it always done this? Let me know.

Natural gas oven won't get hot and stay hot
Most likely the oven igniter has failed. Turn the unit to bake, the gas should come on within 35 to 60 seconds (at the most). If not, replace the bake igniter. DO NOT TOUCH THE BLACK PORTION OF THE IGNITER with your fingers, this is true for old and new.
Oven door on gas range won't open. Apparently
Hello & Welcome to FixYa
This is a common problem that occurs when self-clean cycle is used after a long time or when the oven gets old. Recommended repair is replacing the door latch-lock assembly as the latch mechanism cannot be repaired. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.

Oven does heat up and
you either have a bad spark module or the swithes are bad.if you remove the knobs off the four valve stems and remove the panel you'll see the spark switches, they come all together on a harness and connect to each valve, most likely this is the problem, part number 74007095 and it's around 25 dollars nad the spark module part number is 8215557 and it's around 30 dollars
NO heat on bake setting. All other functions
The problem is usually the igniter not reaching the correct amp draw .When the igniter does not reach the correct amp draw it may allow the gas valve to partially open or not open at all. The igniters are inexpensive and easy to replace. This video will walk you thru the correct procedure for testing an oven igniter. It may be a different model but the testing will be the same. You can also enter your model # for diagrams and illustrations of your specific model. Not all models are available. All parts come with installation instructions.

About
Hi
Sounds like a bad bake igniter…It is suggested to replace the igniter. Usually when a gas appliance is first turned on, the smell can be rather strong, until the gas ignites. So long as your oven is lighting properly, there is nothing to worry about. However, if you're hearing a rather loud "whoosh" sound as the oven lights, it could be that your igniter is getting weak and might need to be replaced. If you've got a weak igniter, it could be allowing a little bit too much gas to build up in the oven compartment before it lights, hence the reason you smell the gas.
You can check for a weak igniter by simply watching the oven when you start it, if the gas lights quickly, once the igniter is glowing brightly and you've heard the "click" of the gas valve opening (in the oven), then everything is fine.
Let us know if you have something more to know else accept the suggestion.
