When you move a fridge or freezer you need to let them stand for a couple of hours prior to turning back on again especially if you put on its side or turn it upside down. This helps the gas in the pipes settle down I would suggest you turn it of for a couple of hours then turn it on again see if that helps. Regards Craig

It is possible that there are more things wrong but my fridge freezer did that and I had to refill it with Freon gas. You need to get someone who knows what they are doing.

Could be low on Freon gas but if you get into the working parts to repair them probably cost more than it's worth to repair. You need a repair man to check it out.

If it was not runnig for some time, it has nothing to do with it not working now. If compressor is running but not cooling, there is no gas in it. If compressor is not running, there are two options. 1. Thermostat switch is not working (cheap) 2. Compressor is dead ( not worth repairing)

If you are getting water from dispenser, then changing filter wouldn't help. Is ice maker getting water? Is freezer at or near 0F?

Hi Brian, the fridge should be 3.0 degrees and the freezer -18. If you have forgotten how to do this, you need to press the fridge button repeatedly until you get the temp, and the same with the freezer. Hope this is the answer you wanted. Kind regards David

There is a heating coil in those for defrosting purposes. You need to check and see if there is a defrost timer and see if it is stuck. Since you did not post the make and model number, that is as far as I can advise
