Could be low on Freon gas but if you get into the working parts to repair them probably cost more than it's worth to repair. You need a repair man to check it out.

If it was not runnig for some time, it has nothing to do with it not working now. If compressor is running but not cooling, there is no gas in it. If compressor is not running, there are two options. 1. Thermostat switch is not working (cheap) 2. Compressor is dead ( not worth repairing)

Not familiar with this model, but these trays are normally underneath, you should be able to access from the back.

Hi Brian, the fridge should be 3.0 degrees and the freezer -18. If you have forgotten how to do this, you need to press the fridge button repeatedly until you get the temp, and the same with the freezer. Hope this is the answer you wanted. Kind regards David

There is a heating coil in those for defrosting purposes. You need to check and see if there is a defrost timer and see if it is stuck. Since you did not post the make and model number, that is as far as I can advise

there is a thermal alarm usually goes off if the fridge is not cold, and they do get hot on the back thats how they work, turning off for around 10min would reset the alarm.
