Hi, what operating system are you using? In Windows XP you can view the page count by doing the following:

- Go to the printer's Properties window (click the Start button, go to the Control Panel and click on Printers and Faxes, right click on the printer and choose Properties).
- On the General tab, click Preferences.
- On the Basics tab, click About.

You can see the page count in the About window, toward the bottom.

The formatter is the brains of the machine and probably your problem. Look for a small hole in the side of the machine and use a paperclip to push button and this will preform an engine test. It will print lines up an down the page even if formatter is bad to rule out other parts.

What kind of printer it is. If an plug & play type no need of driver cds's. other wise you can download the software and use that thing
