My computer runs constantly its loud and annoying
I assume you mean the cooling fan on the CPU, this model uses a smart fan technology, it is meant to spin up faster to provide cooling. If is is doing tis constantly, it means the CPU is not getting adequate cooling (overheating), to check this, remove the side panel, clean all the dust and debris build up from the cooling fan and see if that helps

Poor performance could be down to a number of reason's but adding memory is usually good value.
you can visit http://www.crucial.com to find out what additional memory (if any) you can add to your machine and how much it will cost.
Also worth making sure your anti-virus is up to date, that you have a decent amount of free hard disk space (at least 1Gb), defrag your hard drive if possible and run a good anti-malware scan to make sure there isn't any dodgy processes hanging about....suggest downloading and running the free edition of MalwareBytes -

Hi,
With the issue you are having, it only indicates that the operating system is corrupted together with the recovery partition. At this point, all I recommend you to do is contact HP at 866-408-5408 and request for a recovery disc. This will reload the operating system and all the drivers plus the default programs that came with it when you first got the computer.
About the charges now, you can click ths link and inquire how much it will cost you to get this issue fixed. FixYa does not charge depending on the number of questions you ask but the resolution of the problem. If your issue is not fixed then the amount you paid will be refunded back to you. In full.
Fresh install of windows xp
I doubt, due to no support from Microsoft, anyone still supports XP. The nearest drivers I can find are Vista32 bit drivers.
Have fun and good luck.
How about Win2000 drivers, they are very similar?

System Recovery Failure
Hp recovery console usually sucks, download an iso of the operating system from a torrent website like www.isohunt.com and do a fresh install. download the disc image burn the image to a cd, boot from the cd and fresh install, You will notice a world of speed improvment if you dont feel comfortable downloading the imange call hp and tell them you want a OEM disc of the os for your pc
My 4 in 1 memory card reader is not functioning.
The card readers must have the correct drivers loaded.
Usually found on the driver CD provided with the machine.
Otherwise, you will have to google your machine style and card reader name "if any" for the drivers.
Also, if you are handy with PC's and not afraid to open the box.
Make sure the card reader is plugged UP!
If you have an exclamation point over any USB devices.
Probably:
a. don't have the drivers loaded or
b. The wrong ones have been loaded and failed. (Find and reload them)
Good luck!
Power doesnt on
If you don't get any indication that power isn't working, e.g. a power light, computer fax noise, etc., it's likely that the power supply in the computer is no longer working. In extreme cases it can be the system board itself, but you should at least feel or here the fan in the power supply go on if it's still working.
Before going out and purchasing a new power supply for your computer I would try to at least plug in the computer somewhere else to see if any activity occurs when you attempt to power it on.
Hope this helps. Let me know if you need more help.

No suitible display device
Assuming you have XP
Do you have to original disks?
If so the info you seek is loaded in there,
you should be able to reload the drivers from the disk itself,
Go to Device Manager and right click properties,
Select device eg Sound,VGA,etc...
Click Update and point the wizard to the disk in your cd drive.
If you have no disk point wizard at the c drive where windows should have been installed.Let windows find the drivers.
Still can't find them then you need to do a windows update SP2 works so the machine can give the correct instructions to the right devices,at the right time.
Do the updates and reboot, then try again
I hope this helps ,please let me know thanks
