WHERE IS THE HARD DRIVE LOCATED ON A SONY VIO PCG11211L

Here is the support link for the computer (it was apparently bought in Latin America region so the manuals are in Spanish) it is apparently a VPCJ125FL/B J Series All In One PCG-11211L All in one machines typically need to be totally disassembled to get at the hard drive, and the screen may have to be removed. Please refer this repair to a competent technician if you are not experienced. VAIO Series All in One

My sony vaio desk top pcg-11211L screen shows operating system not found

First - re-seat the hard disk and reboot the computer. If the computer does not boot up then reboot and go into the BIOS configuration to see if the BIOS detects the hard drive. If it doesn't detect the hard drive then it could be faulty. Then the hard drive needs to be replaced in the computer/laptop, Windows installed and the computer or laptop's device drivers plus your programs etc. to get a functioning computer/laptop again.

Vista does not recognize scan disk

if you are referring to a usb drive

click start control panel administrative tools computer management device manager scroll down universal serial bus controllers you could see a yellow question / exclamation mark? ! or a red X

you will need to update/reinstall drivers

right click to reinstall drivers

if you can see your usb drive but its not working

ports (com&lpt) right click update driver if this fails to fix the problem

check the USB leads that attach to the motherboard usually red white green black make sure they are securely seated and have no dust build up on them dust will cause static and a lot of unforeseen problems to a computer and its parts if you need more help with this or if i have missed the problem post a reply hope it helps

My sony vaio pc fan

Perhaps it's clogged with dust and hair, try using a can of compressed air to clean it out, careful not to get any on your hands though.

Hello I have a problem

If you were to log on to the sony.com web site, I think you will be pleasantly surprised as usually one is able to download if available, by model number, Customer Instruction Manuals, list of Dealers, for spare parts and service, Driver downloads and Installation Instructions as required.

This is the best way of ensuring up to date drivers for your system and they are free of charge!

There are no XP drivers to be found with Microsoft as XP is no longer supported.

Some manufacturers may have a limited number of Drivers still listed.

I hope this helps.

VAIO desktop does not recognize Sandisk flash drive

Most probably you have a drive letter conflict? If so, right click "My computer" choose "Manage" and locate "Disk management" - here, in the middle lower panel, you should be able to find your usb-memory stick, right click it and assign it a drive letter that you're sure is not in use.
