Washing machine will not wring clothes out clothes
There is a coupling that is between the motor and the transmission that is likely broken, so I ask this to rule that out... Does the machine agitate? If you aren't paying attention, it may be that it isn't and you aren't realizing it until you go to get the load out of it that it isn't spinning. If it does neither spin nor agitate, it's most likely the coupling, which is 2 three pronged units, one on the motor, and the other on the transmission, with a rubber donut between them. Either the donut is broken or the prongs on the units are broke or both.
Two screws hold the head to the cabinet, remove these and flip the head back. There are two clips that hold the cabinet to the back, use a screwdriver to pry these forward and release them from the back, paying attention to the direction they face so you can replace them correctly. Pull the cabinet up and towards you as you release it from the base,
On the front of the machine is the pump, usually white or grey, and two clips hold this in place. Pull the pump off, and the motor is held in with a similar fashion. Remove the motor, and check the condition of the 3 pronged units (coupling prongs) and rubber donut. These are probably broken in one fashion or another as described above. Align the new one (don't purchase ahead of time in case this is not the case, it isn't a very expensive part from a retailer) pronged unit on the transmission and tap it in the a wooden hand from a screwdriver or hammer, and do the same for the motor. Place the donut on the transmission side, and place the motor back into the mounts on the transmission, then place the clips in place, replace the motor and clips.
When putting the cabinet back on, tip the cab. towards you and slide it under the frame, the lower it so that the two slots on the bottom align with the upward prongs on the back of the frame. If these are not upright, you can align them with a pair of pliers or use a flathead screw driver to get them upright. Pull the back of the machine towards you as you replace the clips. Push hard when you get them into the slots on the top of the cabinet, and they will snap into place. Pull the head back down, and rescrew the head to the cabinet. This should solve your problem.
Good luck on your repair. Please rate and comment, Thank You
