Shorted control behind knob. Temporary fix: remove fuses for that element

You could try to restart and stop clean cycle. Otherwise unplug stove and remove back panel to access locking mechanism.

Control behind knob needs replacing.

Normally if a burner burned out and or shorted, it would burn a fuse rather than kick out the breaker.

Try under glass top

My guess is the element in the back of the oven took that moment to die. You will have to get an appliance engineer or good DIY electrician to check the supply to the element to be sure. While you have it out you can write down the serial numbers etc off the label on the back. You will need them to purchase a new element. Just go online to an appliance spares specialist.

Could be the thermostat has perished and should be replaced it's the skinny tube in the oven with a thin copper tube which runs back to the switch and is connected to the switch it all needs replacing.
