Unplug Power Cord

Hold POWER and RESUME buttons

Plug in Power Cord

Release buttons after the printers starts up

Hold CARTRIDGE and RESUME

Press POWER

Release all buttons after the beeps

Press CARTRIDGE 16 times

Press RESUME

Unplug the Power cord

FINISH

If the CHARGE/ERROR light is remain on orange with beep 1 times, it mean the paper is not properly set in the feed slot, just remove the paper and reload it properly.
If the POWER light is flashing green, that mean your print job is not finish yet.

There are some possibilities due to the above phenomena. Let's discuss about it:
1) If the POWER light is flashing green, then your printer is now warming up or performing maintenance procedure (replacing cartridge/tank) or cleaning print head, just wait a few seconds till the light stop flash. Also if the last page of a print job not done, this POWER light flashing green.
2) If the CHARGE/ERROR light is flashing orange with beep 3 times, it mean your cartridge need to be install (especially the 1st time turn on printer) or cartridge being replaced, just install the cartridge and press RESUME to continue.
3) If both POWER light is flashing green and CHARGE/ERROR light is flashing orange with beep 3 times, then your printer may facing a very serious error and maybe need a replacement.

cheak down in it do u see paper stuck in there might wann unplug it go download latest driver from cannon.com also ok then try

plz ask any local vendor or service engineer

Gimp is the only tested driver by them.
Personally I wont trust a 3rd party driver other than gimp and guttenprint because these drivers have been tested by apple team. Other than gimp seems like the only available driver in canon's site are for os 8 and os 9.
