Making Corrections
1. Connectors
Are the connectors J204 on the main power supply PCB and the connector J300 on the DC controller PCB connected securely?
NO: Connect the connectors securely.
2. Main power supply PCB Is 24 V supplied by the main power supply PCB (J204) to the DC controller

Repeating dots are usually the result of foreign material on the drum charge roller or toner adhesion (like a little smashed melted blob) on the developer cylinder. IF you have an E1 finisher on it, Turn OFF copier the E580 error is most likely related to the stack tray lift motor. Try disconnecting the finisher. That means pulling it away from the copier and unplugging the cable from the back of the copier. Turn the copier back on. This won't solve your problem, but you should be able to use the copier until a tech can have a look at it.

I'm assuming that you mean blank copies. Open the document feeder as though you were going to make a copy on the glass. In the upper left corner you should see a curved shaped arm sticking up. Press that down to see if the scan lamp comes on, careful its a very bright light. If it doesn't then you will either have to replace the lamp, the lamp Inverter PCB Assy, or the lamp cable. This will most likely require a service call. Sorry.

Hi you need to enter in service mode first in the control panel press the next secuence: press adittional function press 2 and 8 at the same time press again adittional function service mode should appear in the screen. if don't repeat the procedure until it does in service mode press COPIER, then FUNCTION, then CLEAR select ERR and press ok turn off the machine from the main switch for about a minute. restart the machine and try to make some copies, if problem persist there is a malfunction in the fixing unit. get technical support. i hope this can help you
