Sounds like a problem in the power supply. Possible bad capacitors if you can have it checked out.

I have the same TV and thought it was my Verizon setbox (vs. the HDMI connection). The Verizon tech whiz did all the checks and is fairly sure it's the HDMI connection with the TV at fault ... something he says isn't uncommon. Unfortunately, not sure how to do any type of firmware update as this TV doesn't have a USB port. The solution prescribed by the Verizon tech whiz? Go with component cables to replace the HDMI cable. I'm not a hardware expert, so wouldn't feel comfortable changing out the HDMI card. Hope this might provide some type of alternative explanation ... though coming late.

Have you used the input display ie usb freeveiw hdmi avi ect because your tv will have a input display ?

Fault to the main power supply regulator section. Either it will be a separate board, or the part of main board.
