Epsom R200 COPY INK DOESNT WORK

There is no solution, I have tried this myself, there are compatible inks for this product, you just got the wrong ones, However it may only be down to one of the inks, check the ink levels before removing, if all empty, then they are not compatible.

Epson Sylus R300 Ink Cartidge stuck

Had the same problem and found its a part underneath the cartridges. You have to remove whole cartridge carrier, it's the printer head that can pop up. Easy to pop back down but you have you remove top covers. Good luck.

Can the printer still print on low ink on colors?

It will print with no ink it will just be patchy. It is also best to not let them run out of ink as they dry up in the print nozzle a pain to get working again and uses a lot of ink as you need to do several head cleans. You may need to turn it of at the power point then after 3 minutes turn it back on again. Also reboot your computer it may have not have started properly. This should reset it.

How is 4" x 6" paper loaded?

There are settings that should allow you to specify the page size usually in the printer program that is installed on your computer as well as if you were using your printer as a stand alone device ,it will not be a problem with your Mac or printer but perhaps the instruction menu not been user friendly , I suggest you look at your printer settings in trouble shooting under paper loading etc or paper size as even the very cheap printers allow for smaller paper sizes even envelopes .You might try the print preview which should let make changes if need be .

Epson R230 blinking 2 red lights after cleaning clog

I'll need a little clarification to diagnose this but my guess is that you have something blocking the path of the printhead.

There are two possible diagnoses...
1. Service error: This is when the waste ink pads are full.. It's indicated by both ink and paper lights alternating with each other. I doubt very much this is the problem...

2. General or "Fatal" error: This is when something stops the printhead from doing its job and usually follows something like a paper jam where something has been left behind or been pulled out of alignment when clearing the jam. I'm betting on this being the case.

Here's a few things to try.
  • Check to see if the printhead can move the full width of the printer. Note any areas it has problems reaching like the parking pad.

  • If you can identify an area that it's stopping at, note the direction of travel and see if there's anything in the way or out of place in that direction.
    - A common one is a bit of paper that's become covered in ink making it hard to see, sticking up and blocking the path.
    - Another is the parking pad or cleaning station being pulled out of position.

  • Check that all the rollers and paper guides are uniform and there's no obvious lifting. Sometimes they can be pulled out of alignment and just need nudge (carefully!) back into position.
Anything else is going to rely on you reporting back with a bit more information in detail as to where the printer is stopping, and any additional observations... The more you can provide, the easier it will be to solve the problem.

Regarding the solution from top_class... This would do more damage and solve none of your problem.. I suggest you ignore it.

Is there a way of manually cleaning a printhead?

Are you confident you have a good Cyan cartridge from which the ink is flowing properly. For example, are you sure you removed the yellow tape from the cartridge before you installed it? Is it low on ink? Even though the Status Monitor says the cartridge has plenty of ink, it may not. This is because the Status Monitor only estimates how much an ink cartridge contains based on how much printing & head cleaning has been carried out since new. There are a number of reasons for it to get it badly wrong, or it may simply be faulty (e.g. an out-of-date cartridge that has dried-up). If in doubt change it for a new one.

Apart from a dud cartridge, air trapped in the nozzles can inhibit ink flowing. This is usually caused by unsatisfactory cartridge replacement e.g. taking out the old cartridge too long before installing the new. Tackle this with head cleaning cycles. But, do not carry out more than 2 or 3 cleaning cycles in a row; once ink starts to flow, as shown by a nozzle check print, leave it to stand for 24 hours before trying 2 or 3 cycles again. Patience is the key.

If these steps produce no improvement, then you can try the following head-soak process. Turn the printer on, and as soon as the print head moves, pull the power cord out of the back, or turn the printer off at the mains. You may now carefully move the print head by hand over to the left hand side out of the way. Look inside the print head parking area on the right and you will see a small rubber cup that comes up to cover the print nozzles when the head is parked (to stop it drying out). Use a syringe or dropper to fill this cup with head cleaning fluid or distilled water. DO NOT USE TAP WATER. Carefully push the print head fully into its parking position so that the cup full of fluid comes up over the print head. Leave this for at least 24 hours, then try a head clean or two again. If still nothing, report back.

When trying to print my photos on my Epson Photo

Most ink jet printers have a self cleaning you can do.
The fact that you're getting shades of green usually indicate that the red is not printing properly.

Self cleaning should take care of it
