Indesit WA 115 Front Load Washer - Page 3 Questions & Answers
How do i remove the soap drawer
Hi, I had the same problem, Open the drawer fully by pushing the right hand side in to release.
With the tray fully open, hold the white front bit steady and pull drawer bit, hard towards you. Quite a lot of force is needed.
Its held in by a plastic clip that clips onto the hinge part of the front cover. Hope this helps took me 3 months to take the courage to pull hard enough.
Where are the filters on the Indesit 1200 washer
Follow the water inlet tube till the connecting end of the m/c. You can dimantle the union here.Mostly without tools. You will fin the filter inside the pipe body. Pull it out & clean. Fix back all rubber parts back.
Lights on, no wash cycle starts
Check that the machine is heating the water. if it is not, then it is likely the heating element at fault, or one of the two thermostat switches that control it.
It will not continue if it is waiting for the water to heat.
Try it with just a rinse and spin. If it rotates on this, then it will be a heater fault, as no heating is selected in this cycle.
If it will not spin on that cycle, troubleshoot the drive and motor. Check belt condition and motor brushes for wear.
The rubber seal around the door of the washing
The problem has been caused by doing too many low temperature washes, this has allowed the bacteria to build up on the seal.
The only long term solutioin is to fit a new door seal, and do more high temp washes, at least once a month, do a 90 degree wash or hotter with powder in, but no clothes.
This is called a maintenance wash, and helps stop build up of bacteria, and keeps door seal clean.
Please rate my solution.
Thanks

HI WHEN I TURN ON MY MACHINE ALL THE LEDS KEEP
Hello, this usually is signaling that there is a problem in your machine. You will need to get a service technician in to diagnose the problem for you. I hope this is somewhat helpful.
Not running through cycle
Hi there,
It's the timer, if your washing machine fills with water and begins agitating, but the timer never advances--or if the washer is in a spin cycle and the timer won't advance. Then you need to replace the timer.
Good Luck!!!
