Indesit W 123 Front Load Washer - Page 4 - Answered Questions & Fixed issues

I had thi problem.I removed the heater element but there was nothing wrong with it when tested .Do not do this as it is hard to get element back inWhat I done was remove the top of machine and pulled connector of temperature knob It was corroded.I sprayed the connection with WD40and shoved it on and off a couple of times and hey presto it worked .Themachine is heating again

hi there. its likely that there are coins etc in the pump filter,which causes the filter to jam.usually a little persuasion and patience will give you access.try fast left and right turns ,with the emphasis on anti clockwise.otherwise you may need to strip down the pump.patience usully works though!

unless the pump is just blocked ( remove blockage ) the pump cannot be repaired only replaced with a new one .

Possible that the DOOR lock SWITCH is faulty and so the continuity to the switch and the wiring to the panel must be checked.If there is no continuity then the switch must be replaced.

Error code F08 means that the heaterrrelay cannot be activated.
Check the connections to the Pressure switch, the Module,and the Heater element.
If you can, test the element of the heater to make sure it is o/k.

Is the machine siphoning off water as it fills? If it is check the height of the drain hose and make sure it is above the height of the normal level of water that would be in te drum when washing, if the hose is to low the drum will siphon off the water on its own and continue to fill. If the machine is not siphoning off water while filling then you may have a blocked pressure hose or the pressure hose bottle may be blocked not allowing the pressure switch to activate. there may even be a small hole in the pressure switch hose. Check the thin pressure hose that goes from the bottom of the drum to the pressure switch.

Hang on a minute guys, She said it washes perfectly so there is NO PROBLEM.Front loading machines should only have LOW SUDS powder put in them to PREVENT LATHER. Excess Lather / foam WILL leak out and WILL ruin the machine.

you have a faulty water valve turn the cold water off at the main see if the water is still dripping in if it is it will be the hot water valve replace faulty valve they are fairly cheap to buy best to replace both piece of mind you can buy them on line and are easy to replace euro spares will have them if you still need help let me know.

is the door locked just try opening the door and shutting firmly

I had this error and engineer said the meaning of the codes on the web are wrong as they don't like to disclose their real code meanings for pure protectionism reasons. F06 on IWD7145 is a burnt out door interlock IDC error. He replaced the part number C00085194 (replacement door interlock) and microritardator part number 085194 and it works ok now.

will have to check it by hand take off the back of washer and you will see the pump on the botom of washer there is a pipe going into pump and one comming out losen the one going into pump and remove debris also there is a pipe comming from the bottom of the drum if possible remove this as well as some times socks and undies have a knack of turning up there as well haha but if there is a blockage when these pipes are removed there will be a lot of water so have some towels handy that should be about it hope this helps ivan
