Charging port replacement
If you've tried other cords as well as tried holding down the power button for a minute and trying to restart your problem is most likely your micro usb port/pwr jack.
It has separated from the board and needs to be re-soldered and made sturdy again.
If you are great with a soldering iron you can do the repair after watching a few youtube videos but it is a tight and tiny repair.
If not I strongly recommend sending it to us. We are fast, thorough, very familiar and make the port more sturdy than factory original.

Kindle fire screen is blank
Try doing a hard reset of your Kindle Fire as advised on the
Kindle Fire Support web site for dealing with Screen problemsIf you still have a problem after doing the above, then you follow the additional steps advised on the above web page, i.e. ensure the Kindle Fire is fully charged (the power indicator has changed from Orange to Green) and that you have the latest Software Updates installed (assuming you can view the screen to do so!).
Kindle fire screen is green
I was having this exact same problem. I did a little research but to no avail, until I found this site. Just as I went to test some of these suggestions out, I found the screen had just returned back to normal as if nothing was wrong. Maybe give it a little time to work? I've been using it during its screen problems and it seems perfectly fine (aside from the green tint). Now my kindle is as good as new, so maybe you just have to wait a bit.
My Kindle Fire will not start
If you last charged it with the computer USB port, try charging with the supplied AC adapter instead. If you last charged with the computer USB port, try charging with the AC adapter this time. This will help isolate a bad AC adapter / power cord or USB cable / USB port.It is important to note that if you are charging your Kindle via USB port on a computer, when many computer enters "sleep mode" the USB power is shut off at this time too. Charging is effectively halted - even though still connected. You should only expect to charge while the computer is active or when using the AC adapter. You can also purchase an aftermarket DC charger. These are small plugs that are inserted into your auto's port or cigar lighter. They provide 1 or 2 USB connectors to plug in a USB cable. These devices are suitable to supply / charge just about any devices that uses a computer's USB port to power / charge a device. They cost anywhere from $5 and up and look something like this:
I hope this helps and good luck!

My WiFi keeps going off even when I turn it on
I assume that you mean the WiFi connection on your Kindle keeps going off and that you have checked that other devices connecting to the same WiFi router / access point are not experiencing the same problem, only the Kindle? If it is only your Kindle having this problem, then it may be worth checking that you have the
latest version of software on the Kindle which you can do by visiting the Kindle Support web link in this update - select your correct Kindle device then follow the steps to check that you have the most up to date software installed. The Kindle Keyboard should update itself automatically but can also be done manually if necessary. If that doesn't work, then you may need to Reset the Kindle by pressing the Power button for 20 seconds - this will do a re-boot of the Kindle OS which may cure the problem is it is caused by some temporary problem.Have you checked what your battery status is when the WiFi goes off - this may happen when the battery levels get very low - the WiFi will add extra drain on the battery and cause the battery life to be reduced if left on full time.
