Behringer XENYX 502 Premium 5-Input 2-Bus Mixer with XENYX Mic Preamp and British EQ Questions & Answers
Xenyx 502
You can only do this with a LINE OUT of your amplifier, or HEADPHONE out, as these are line level outputs and will not hurt the inputs of your mixer. Otherwise the signal going to the mixer will be too hot and ruin it. For a Marshall amp,I would prefer to mic it anyway, and run the mic cable to the mixer.
Please help! Behringer KX1200 master volume stops past 4 and no lines work just fx return
Also how do I reconnect the fan?
It sounds like you may have a broken potentiometer (aka volume knob) for the master volume control. If that is the case, you would need to replace it with a new one (or take it to an electronics technician to diagnose and repair).
Regarding the fan disconnection, this likely isn't causing your issue but you would still want to reconnect it as it keeps your amplifier cool while in use. Reconnecting is fairly straightforward - all fans have 2 or 3 wires that connect to corresponding terminals on the amp. Just make sure you don't mix up which wire is positive and negative, and make sure they are connected firmly and securely.
Behringer EP1500 amp does not produce full loudnes
Hi,
Please test the loudness of your device with a third-party decibel meter. This will give you a clear measure of whether the loudness of your device is changing with increase in volume. It could be that your surroundings are absorbing the increased sound.
Thank you.
How to get 5.1 sound. to an external audio card?
The channels are setup according to the model. If you have stereo (2 channel L/R) then you cannot get 5 channels out of it. To do this you need a card that is 5.1. If your card IS 5.1, then i would enable the channels in the audio mixer for the card.
I have a Behringer pmp1280s. It was working fine 12 months ago. I got it out again today. Everything lights up fuses are fine. level lights work. No sound out of speaker outputs
I doubt that there is a problem with the unit. Usually people have problems with their cables or the speakon plugs themselves.
Unscrew the connector that is used on both ends and double-check their connections. Sometimes the screws that hold the heavy gauge wire in place, come loose. Also make sure that they are in the right places. Sometimes you have 4 connections. Make sure they are in +1 and -1 connections. Every once in a while you'll find a quirk unit that requires you to use +2 and -2 instead. Look at the back of the amp. It should tell you which numbers it uses. Make sure you check the same thing on the speaker end also. If you have a meter or continuity checker, use it to make sure it's wired right.
This is a professional piece of equipment. They don't go bad easily. Make sure you tighten those connections real good and that you pay close attention to the engraved numbers on the speakon connectors. (That is if they are quality connectors. The cheap ones may NOT tell you the numbering or the phase, ((+ or -)). Hint: The negative one is always closest to the outside of the plug. You'll have to study it to understand that. The screw terminals on the inside have 'walls' on both sides of it. Those are the + connections.
Also, check the switches on the front. You may have one of the switches in the wrong position or setting. Also if you're using phantom powered mics, you have to turn the phantom power on or else they will not work. Hope this helps.
Behringer EUROPOWER PMP5000. using vocals with effects it produced what I call white noise. shut it down, and it worked fine, later it did it again. I turned down all effects and it was fine.
Hello Doug, obviously for what you are saying, you would have a problem in the effects processor of your Behringer, I suggest you use an external processor to corroborate that the problem is not in the shipping bar, or in the allocation of returns
If you have technical knowledge, disarm the mixer and control the internal connections of the effects processor, see if there are no loose solders
I sent you the link to download the circuits of your PMP5000
If you do not find the origin of the fault, look for a specialized technical service
I hope you can solve the problem
Greetings Franco Dosil
