Let me state how I think you have this setup Printer is Ethernet ---------- Ethernet (WL-330GE wireless adapter) WL-330GE adapter >>>>>> Wireless >>>>>> New Router Diagram and mode is from https://www.asus.com/Networking/WL330gE/HelpDesk_Manual/ ASUS WL-330gE user's manual in English So I think you need to use Ethernet Adapter Mode ! The computer shown would be your printer As you are using wireless you need to set up the wireless ssid and the wpa or wep encryption to match the new router I am guessing . in section 4.3 advanced settings in the above manual link from ASUS. Also the access point has an ip address by default as 192.168.0.1 255.255.255.0 you would have to most likely have 176.16.1.2 and the new router as 176.16.1.1 and the same subnet mask what ever it is maybe it is 255.255.255.0 then make the printer 176.16.1.5 subnet 255.255.255.0 or whatever subnet you use. Make sure you log into the new router and alter the DHCP server to assign leases from 176.16.1.10 to 176.16.1.254 with same subnet mask.

Restart> press F2 on boot = BIOS

Wireless device > ENABLE

it seems that the magic number is 5 seconds, but it depends on what type of reset you want!

To reset the device to factory defaults, hold down the button on the device for 5 seconds. You can then setup the device the same way you did when you first got it.

Access is easy to configure, you just need to understand basic setup you need to do and just have to find the same options on the configuration page of any wireless access point.

Things to setup.
1. Local IP Address ( You will get default 192.168.1.1 according to your device guide, still you can set different (not recommended, if not expert) )

2. Setup WAN IP-This could be dial up connection (PPPOE) or Internet IP Address provided by your internet provider.

3. Setup Wireless access point SSID, this is what you will find when you scan for wireless connection available

4. Setup security settings. You can setup WPA or WAP to protect security. Just need to select and assign key/password which you will be asked while connecting SSID

Firmwares are designed for each particular product. 330gE firmware will be invalid for 330g. Maybe ASUS is coming up with a new one. have you tried checking lately? It is usually published thru the net. If it's already a recognized issue for the product. manufacturer will be posting one in no time.  

Yes, the wireless adapter can be fixed, by replacing the motherboard.

Look for a program called Sound Booster or one called DFX. DFX is my favorite because it not only boosts the volume, but lets you add other effects to enhance you sound as well. There is a free version. but to get all the effects you have to upgrade to the paid. If audio is important to you, check it out.

Try going into sound select and test reinstall driver off Asus website..if you installed new windows or update drivers may not work right...see if you can roll back driver in device manager ..if not lookup your laptop model and reinstall...
