Cisco IP 7941, green speaker button stays on
The speaker green lighted indicates that phone is writing images to its flash memory, this could be caused by an erased memory or the phone is corrupted, after this it should display Cisco System logo, if this takes too long time ( 10 minutes or more) ,maybe you have a bad network port or a bad phone.

You have a bad hook switch. The phone has to be disassembled to repair the fault. Refer service to a qualified person.
I have cisco ip phones 7941 with the correct MAC
Make sure you have the phone configured as the correct device type in callmanager. Also, try and turn on auto registration in Callmanager as this will allow everything to register. Then go back and put the correct configuration the phone.

the DHCP server should be providing the address of the TFTP Server as DHCP Option 150. The most likely problems are:
Option 150 not defined, or not the correct IP address of the TFTP Server.
Or possibly your TFTP Server is not functioning properly.
If you have not Option 150 defined, the phone will use the default gateway as the TFTP server address.

It is possible for them to monitor voip calls, if your call passes through their network, or they do remote monitoring on network traffic. The voip traffic is only data that needs to be 'reassembled' to hear the voice stream. However, this is more difficult if the traffic is encrypted between the phone and the call manager or whatever they are using.
I am no legal person, but I am sure that you would have to have agreed to have your calls monitored for them to be able to do this.

I would guess that depending on your configuration your phones are unable to load whatever ring type you called for at the current location. example: I pre load the phone at site "a" with ringtype 1, but ring type 1 file does not exist on current branch server.. just some thoughts... let me know if this can help.

I would check the firmware on the phones. Also, check that your switches are properly configured. Duplex settings do matter. If your using cisco switches; do a "show interface" and check for CRC errors etc.
