Welcome to Fixya. Yes Diagnosis is correct because SC670 is a common error on this machine.

SC670 mistake Engine Response - After powering on the machine, a response is not received from the engine within 30 second. Which means when the main power is turned on or the machine starts warming up from energy-saving mode, the controller does not receive a command signal from the BCU. There could be few possibilities that you need to check and diagnose

Reasons:

- Loose connection
- Defective controller
- Defective BCU

Troubleshooting:

- Turn the main switch off and on.
- Check the connection between the BCU and controller.
- Replace the controller.
- Replace the BCU.

Here's the illustration of the controller:


To reinstall the controller board into the printer push the bottom center area of the board

After replacing the BCU or controller, remove the NVRAM on the old board and put it on the new one.
This should be the series of troubleshooting. Unfortunately, this is not an easy fix. If you do not have any repair experience, i would advise you to call a Ricoh professional so that he could take care of the problem.

Dear kishorkamble, We fixed this error, which happened in another model (Aficio MP-5500), by configuring two options: 1. Activating SNMP protocol. Menu Configuration -> Network -> IPv4 2. sounds like photo conductor is bad will need to rebuild or replace it

You may have to go to the printer and click on Status or printer jobs and cancel the job from the printer. It appears the printer has the whole job already spooled in memory

Does this happen when you using the document feeder?? Try placing the original document on the big glass see what happens might be you document feeder needs to be adjusted or the original document is hitting a obstruction in the path as it is being scanned. With a 1440 watt and 12 volt, the battery must be over a thousand AH. (ampere/ hour) because for the 1440 watt, you need a current of more than 100 ampere. But even with a few hundreds of watt, you need a very powerful battery, because 300 watt, will pull 30 amps from the battery. A car battery with even 100 AH can't deliver that.

It is a problem with the network connection, if you are using scan router recheck the configuration settings in case of scan to email check connection with smtp server, port no. ssl on or off and do the connection test, check mail server authentication, rest assured it is not a problem with the machine or GW controller.

Hi TUlsi The majority of fax machines will do this, I know as the ones i use in DHL are the same when i contacted the company Cannon they advised that it could not be disabled. Which give the solution, All faxes are different and you will only know how to disable it by contacting the manufactures support. I agree full it is anti enviromently friendly and a waste of ink

The manual says that this is a chage roller leak.
Means the the high voltage is arching to ground or drum somewhere....usually pinhole in chage roller
