Remove the 5/16" allen cap screw on the end of the shaft. The knife assembly slides onto the crankshaft and is keyed with a woodruff key. Soak the shaft in pentrating oil overnight and try to slide it off or use more persuasive measures like tapping or a slide hammer. You'll see a big nut it's a LH thread so to remove it turn it CCW. Sears the place to go for the information you want. Last time I needed a manual there was a charge to get it.

The first thing I would do is to spray the screws with a penetrating oil like PB Blaster. Let it set a while and try again.
