Beverage-Air 23.1 cu. ft. / 654 liter Commercial Freezer BEVEF-24S Questions & Answers
Freezer bottoms out at 26 degrees
some time they have been water lecking down and freezing and swelling the bottoms out. if this is the case then you cant fex the sides of the freezer.
Evap fans will not run
First, the freezer coils have a temperature sensor strapped to it with a copper band.
The fans won't come on until the coil is under 10 degrees. Second, the fans won't come on if the doors are open. The same switch that shuts off the insdie light also turns off the fans. Try those two items. If the coils never get cold enough the fans simplhy won't come on at all. You may have low refrigerant or the other coils out by the compresor may be clogged with dust or grease.
The motor run for about
Hi,
You probably have a freon leak and the compressor is cutting out on low pressure.... then it stops... the pressure builds and it starts again... it will kill it's self doing that...get it serviced right a way...

Unit not freezing , evaporator fan wont run
If this is a Bev-Air, don't think the door switch will control the fan. At the evap, there is a temp sensor called a fan delay. When unit goes into defrost mode, this warms up. Some also serve a dual purpose. It will terminate the defrost cycle at a certain temp., say 51 degrees or so, at the evap. Anyway, when unit comes out of defrost, it keeps the fan off so it allows the evap to cool quicker and to prevent circulating warm air. This could be your problem. Not a hard fix but they can be a pain sometimes. Outside chance that the unit is low on refrigerant (freon). This will not let the evap get cold enough to trip the sensor back into position to turn the fan on. Good Luck. Restaurant Parts and More carry alot of Bev-Air stuff. 1-888-814-1110. Ask for Rick
What are the minimum and
Most all manufacturers try to build units to hold between 34 to 38 degrees as this is the most commonly accepted range for coolers by all Health Departments.
Tappan TFC13M0AW1 Chest Freezer. What part should I replace?
Question edited to add maker! All questions need 'make model (what it is) as first three words.
That is an overheating fault. Replace the fluff with no fluff.
Make sure the condenser coils are free of dust and there is good airflow
Or
It is low on refrigerant gas and you need a service tech..

I have a Traulsen 31300 6 half door freezer that cools down to 28F but won't go below.
If your Traulsen 31300 freezer is cooling down to 28°F but not going below that temperature, and the compressor runs continuously except during the defrost cycle, there are a few tests you can perform to help diagnose the issue before considering replacing the expansion valve. Here are some steps to follow:
1. Check Airflow: Ensure that the airflow inside the freezer is not obstructed by any items or ice buildup. Verify that the evaporator coil is clean and not blocked. Poor airflow can lead to inadequate cooling.
2. Temperature Control Setting: Confirm that the temperature control setting on the freezer is correctly set to the desired temperature. Make sure it is not accidentally set too high or too low.
3. Condenser Coil Cleaning: Clean the condenser coils located either at the back or underneath the unit. Dust and debris accumulation on the coils can reduce cooling efficiency. Use a soft brush or vacuum cleaner to remove any dirt or debris.
4. Condenser Fan Operation: Check if the condenser fan is running properly. The condenser fan helps dissipate heat from the system. Ensure it is spinning freely and not obstructed. If it's not working, it may need to be replaced.
5. Check for Refrigerant Leaks: Perform a thorough inspection of the refrigerant lines and connections for any signs of leaks, such as oil spots, bubbles, or hissing sounds. If a refrigerant leak is suspected, it could be affecting the cooling performance, and repairing the leak and recharging the system may be necessary.
6. Pressure and Temperature Readings: To determine if the expansion valve is the culprit, you may need to take pressure and temperature readings at different points in the refrigeration system using specialized equipment. These readings can help identify any irregularities or inefficiencies in the system.
7. Consult with a Professional: If you're unsure about performing these tests or interpreting the results, it is recommended to seek assistance from a professional refrigeration technician. They will have the expertise and necessary tools to accurately diagnose the issue and provide appropriate solutions.
By conducting these tests and inspections, you can gather more information to make an informed decision about replacing the expansion valve or pursuing other potential causes for the inadequate cooling.

Flex ice Machin 404a gas ..how much suction and discharge pressure should be..?
The ideal suction and discharge pressures for a Flex Ice Machine using 404a refrigerant can vary depending on several factors, including the ambient temperature and the load on the machine. However, here are some general guidelines:
Suction pressure: The suction pressure should typically be in the range of 30-45 psi (pounds per square inch) for a 404a refrigerant system. This pressure corresponds to a saturation temperature of around 20-30°F (-6.7 to -1.1°C).
Discharge pressure: The discharge pressure should typically be in the range of 225-250 psi. This pressure corresponds to a saturation temperature of around 100-110°F (37.8 to 43.3°C).
It's important to note that these are general guidelines, and the ideal pressures can vary based on the specific conditions of the system. It's also important to ensure that the pressures are within the manufacturer's recommended range, as pressures that are too high or too low can indicate a problem with the system. If you are experiencing issues with your Flex Ice Machine, it's recommended to consult a qualified technician for assistance.
