This has happened to me a couple of times now. It seems that the dough mixture gets stuck over one side and the mixer thinks there is a problem. I tend to watch the initial kneading process for 5 mins or so and if it is sticking over one side, I tilt the machine to balance it up and get the dough back in the centre. Seems to work for me.
