Shuts off by itself
Check the fan to make sure it isn't clogged with dust bunnies or malfunctioning. There's a solid-state thermostat that turns off the computer if the processor overheats.

Hello. I am having a problem loading windows. I
There is a way to correct this but not without a windows disc. You can contact your system manufacturer for a copy of the disc, but they will most likely charge you. Also you can borrow a disc from a friend so long as it is what you are licensed for ie Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 home or pro. Also you can torrent a disc but I cannot advise as to its legality.

Where is the HDD located?
depends whether you have an old disk-type drive thats inside the machine.newer systems and future technology dictate SSD's these days(Solid state drives) They have no moving parts and are a series of chips,.processors and minature surface mount components non-user servicable but replaceable.

Will not start up
Try removing the battery and replacing it. If that doesn't fix it hold down the power button and it should re boot. If still a problem we can go further. Thanks

Wireless problem
Perhaps you have not installed ALL the drivers for your system.Sometimes a missing driver for other hardware causes a problem. After installing all the drivers for your system and if it still doesnt work , try using the connection manager built into windows (instead of configfree).
