Kodak EasyShare CX7525 Digital Camera Questions & Answers
Removing the date stamp on photos
If you mean, removing the date stamp after it's already on the picture -- the only way I know of is the hard way, using image processing software such as Photoshop to change the date stamp pixels to the surrounding color.
If you mean, turning off the date stamp option so it doesn't get added to the picture in the first place -- I'm not familiar with your particular camera but the first place I'd look would be in the setup menu.
Only printing half a picture on cx7525
Hello Grant, Are you referring to your camera or a Kodak Thermal Photo Printer ? If it is the printer there is a problem with the drive unit that actuates the cradle, if you are talking about the camera it is a serious problem with the CCD unit. Either way it is costly.Best Regards, Russell
Digital Camera won't turn on
Check the contacts in the camera to be sure they are clean and free of any crusty white gunk. If so, scrape that stuff off. Try non rechargable batteries. It's possible that the recharables are dead.
Remove date on picture already taken whit camera
There are several ways to do this. All require image manipulation. the easiest way not to have them is to remove the feature - the digital file already has the date taken. Now on for the fixes - 1)Cropping - use an image tool like Office photo manager or even paint, to crop the image. 2) use the sample tool in image software to fill in a box the colour of the background. 3) Use a cloning tool to extend the image above the date over the date. These are the fastest ways...there are many others but more time consuming.
New pics will not transfer to pc software
The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.
Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program, such as Picasa ( http://picasa.google.com ).

What kind of memory does
Secure Digital or SD card, but NOT "SDHC". Look for a card of 2Gb or less, and be sure that you don't see the SDHC logo on it.
CX7525. Inserted new 4gb sd
There are no 4GB SD cards. "SD" cards larger than about 2GB are actually SDHC cards. SD and SDHC cards fit the same slots, but they are slightly different electrically. Many cameras won't work with SDHC (high capacity) cards. SDHC is not backwards compatible.
