I too have the same problem. I am going to email 800 schools on my database and tell them to steer clear of this brand to avoid the same issues.

The projector switches off itself due to following problems. Make sure that lamp is not used for more than its life expectancy as mentioned by the manufacturer.The projector gets over heated due to two problems. 1) The dust filters are clogged. Clean the filters. 2) The lamp life is almost over or used lamp is in use. Normally each lamp is used about 2000 to 3000 hours depending upon the manufacturer. In such case replace with new lamp. There are many fans to control the temperature inside. Some are blower fans. Some are exhaust fans. You will have to open the projector & check which one of them is not functioning. Replace the one which is not functioning. It is also likely that there may be some failure of components.
