• Turn off the unit.
• Plug the unit into an electrical outlet.
• Take a microSD card out of the slot. (Empty the microSD card slot.)
• Press and hold down the power button for a few seconds while pressing and holding down the "Home" (Silver Push Button) button. (Both "Power" and "Home" buttons must be pressed down until he see the phrase "upgrade system activated" in the middle of the screen.
• Release both buttons once the phrase "upgrade system activated" appears on the screen.
• Wait until it reboots. You will see the following sentences on the left top corner of the screen: Can not find any update image. Press MENU/KEY_VOLUMEUP key to init SD card, Press BACK/KEY_VOLUMEDOWN key to cancel.
• Press the "VOLUME UP" key. The volume up key is located at the left side of the unit and the button is closer to the built-in camera than the volume down button.
• Wait until it finishes making a partition and shut down the system automatically.
• Once the unit is turned off, your system will be reset to the factory settings. Thus, your previous data are lost at this point.

It's sounds like it's down for the count. Take it to a repair shop. They may or may not e able tix it. Chances are good your going to have to buy a new device. I had that same problem and I ended having to purchase a new device .

Sounds like a corrupted kernel. The only thing you can do is download adb tools and then download the original Coby files for android. without having to do alot of research(if you dont know how to, you will have to research) you can go to Androidcentral.com go to the coby section, in the forum. There you should be able to find the step by step method. Sorry but this would be about the best help I can give you with out actually doing it myself.

Usually on an android device access settings : sd card and storage : select erase all or restore or factory reset and device will be factory restored . If the OS is completely gone you may have to access an image from te Coby website and install from a laptop by cable .

more than likely it's going to be one of these two things. Number 1 the battery is going out. Number 2. check the charging port to make sure that the their separation between the connectors. If there's any damage on the charging port or the plug, you could be cross wires and causing it to overheat. If the charge port and the plug look fine, check Amazon.com for battery a replacement. you will have to change that yourself but you find a real cheap price saving from 5x to ten times the cost of the battery as to have some else replace it for you.

• Under settings on the tablet enable the wireless radio.
