Clear print job on Zebra printer
Simply press the PAUSE button then press CANCEL. If you have sent a batch of 500 labels, though, you will have to press CANCEL 500 times. I usually just turn the printer off, cancel the job in the printer driver status box, then wait for all of the error messages to pop up.

Paper out error
Have you tried a full media calibration from the menu (removing 8" of label from the backing)? Also if a label has left any pieces behind on the rollers, strike plate, etc it can cause this problem. I use a solvent like Goo Gone to make it clean, but be careful not to wipe the sensors with it. Also I have seen this when my users miss a roller when loading the ribbon. Make it clean, load it carefully and usually it works.

Make sure you are using the correct driver 170xiIII plus, and make sure the dpi of the driver matches the print head resolution.203 or 300dpi.

How do I put in an ip address in a 170xiIII plus
You should be able to get to the setting by pressing the SETUP key and then press NEXT until you see a setting called IP RESOLUTION. Use the black oval keys to select Dynamic,Permanent. The default password is 1234. Use the left black oval key to change number position and the right one to change the number value to set the password, then press NEXT. Press NEXT until you get to IP ADDRESS. Again, use the left black oval key to change number position and the right one to change the number value until you get the desired IP address. Press SETUP again and then press SAVE to make a permanent save.
This assumes that you have an internal ethernet card installed.
Hope that helps.

We are using the Zebra
Make sure the pause light is on and press calibrate. See if this calibration solves the problem. If not align the media sensors (top and bottom) to a position that is aligned with the least amount of preprinted data and calibrate again. Print configuration Power on while holding cancel key for 10 seconds. Use the config to help troubleshoot. Make sure the sensor type matches the media. Download user manual at zebra.com.
