TV will not power on

Inspect the lamp again. When you replace it, make sure you DO NOT TOUCH the glass. Make sure all doors and covers are securely in place before you turn it on. As a rule, expensive lamps have a very short life.

Air filter needs cleaned how can i do this

Hi,

You will need the service Manual and a second set of hands,

The service manual is available from Panasonic but they most likely will not provide to a consumer but you can try if they do it is a pdf and should be a small fee:

XXX-XXX-XXXX

Or you could Download the manual from Service manual.net (this is a popular website but i have not used them)

I did the Foot work and found it avail on the site Here:

http://www.servicemanuals.net/ServiceManual/PANASONIC/pt43lc14/pos1/results.aspx

As for actually do this i can tell you this is a big job to get the engine in your hand so if you can get to the filter without removing the engine it is recommend you don't, You have to check the manual to find out how far you have to tear down the set to get to this point though.

Do Not Open the Engine itself, there are no filters in it and only trouble can come from it, the engine is a module with at least 20 glass mirrors and dicronic glass pieces in it and if one shift just a little bit the alignment will make you pull your hair out. The dust in the engine is better left alone. Just clean the set, the fans, the filters. The filters can be washed either by hand or in a washing machine safe delicates bag. Depending how clean you want it if you just want to replace the filter the part number is in the manual and the part can be ordered from www.encompassparts.com (use the guest login, if you cant find the part on the site just call the 800 number they will sell you the part).

Let me know,if needed further assistance.

Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

The TV shutdown error code can help you with this problem. If the power led flashes green for 2 Min's then red. The Lamp led should flash red 1-2-3 or 4 time every 5 Min's. These are error codes that may point you in the right direction to you problem.

On the screen it comes

Hello,

The warning means that your lamp is nearing the end of it's life and needs to be changed out for continued reliable operation. If you look inside of you owner's manual, then it should tell you what model lamp you need and how to change it.

Also, the people at Panasonic are very nice, and should be able to help you in purchasing a lamp.

I hope this helps you...

Flashes orange 2 times every 5 seconds

There is a 20 pin cable that goes from the main board to the light engine that can cause this issue. The other possibility is the door switch or the cable that leads to it has failed. If none of those correct it then the light engine itself is the problem. Hopefully one of the earlier mentioned items is the issue as the light engine is costly. The part number for the cable is LSJA0467 and is available here http://www.partstore.com/PartNumberSearchResults.aspx?PartNumber=LSJA0467

Panasonic hds700tds playing audio no videos

  1. Check the Input Source: Make sure you have selected the correct input source on your TV for the device you are using. Use the remote control to cycle through the input options until you find the one connected to your video source.
  2. Check Video Connections: Ensure that all video cables (such as HDMI, component, or composite cables) are securely connected between your TV and the device you are trying to watch content from. A loose or faulty cable connection could result in a loss of video signal.
  3. Restart the TV and Video Source: Try restarting both your TV and the device you are trying to watch content from. Power off both devices, wait a few moments, and then power them back on. This can sometimes resolve temporary glitches or issues with the video signal.
  4. Check for Software Updates: Make sure your TV's firmware is up-to-date. Sometimes software updates can resolve compatibility issues or bugs that may be affecting video playback. Check the settings menu on your TV for an option to update the firmware, or visit the manufacturer's website for instructions on how to do so.
  5. Reset Video Settings: If you've made any changes to your TV's video settings, such as resolution or picture mode, try resetting them to their default values. This can sometimes resolve issues with video playback.
  6. Try a Different Device: If possible, try connecting a different device (such as a DVD player or gaming console) to your TV to see if the issue persists. This can help determine whether the problem lies with the TV itself or with the original device you were using.
  7. Contact Panasonic Support: If none of the above steps resolve the issue, it's possible there may be a hardware problem with your TV. In this case, you may need to contact Panasonic customer support for further assistance or to schedule a repair.

I have a Panasonic 50-in flat screen TV a storm came by and knocked out my TV and my Yukon no breaker was off so did it come through the antenna please help

  1. Check the Power Cord: Ensure that the power cord is securely plugged into both the TV and the power outlet. Make sure there are no visible signs of damage to the power cord or the plug.
  2. Inspect the Power Outlet: Try plugging another electronic device (such as a lamp or a phone charger) into the same outlet to verify if it is functioning properly. If other devices work fine, then the issue is likely not with the power outlet.
  3. Check for Tripped Circuit Breakers: Check your circuit breaker or fuse box to see if a circuit breaker has been tripped or a fuse blown. If so, reset the circuit breaker or replace the fuse and try plugging in your TV again.
  4. Test with Different Power Source: If possible, try plugging your TV into a different power source altogether, such as a different room or building. This will help determine if the issue is specific to the power source you were previously using.
  5. Contact Panasonic Support: If none of the above steps resolve the issue and your TV still does not power on, it's likely that there is a hardware problem with the TV itself. In this case, you may need to contact Panasonic customer support for further assistance or to arrange for repairs. Be sure to provide them with details of the troubleshooting steps you've already taken.
Hope this helps
