Sounds like a dodgy micro switch, diss connect the the wire from the ignition unit the one that comes out to the to a block connector and then to the micro switches, this wire is an earth cut out so diss connecting it will stop you from switching the engine off but will prove it is a micro switch issue.

Sounds like a clog in either the fuel line, filter, fuel tank or the carburetor or one or more of the above. The engine is running on fuel inserted from the priming pump. Try replacing the filter first. If there are still issues You will need to take apart each of the other components and clean them. There should be some YouTube videos on this.

If as you say the switch is ok ( do a continuity check ) and the wire is sound then unfortunately it is going to be a new ignition unit.

clean and check carb may need a rebuild also check in tank filter and fuel lines

make sure that the inline fuel filter is clean and thenremove carbeurettor make sure all the jets are clean then reset the idle jet to 1.5 turns from closed, replace everything bada bing bada boom shell run like a champ.

It sounds like the fuel isn't igniting. Try a new spark plug fist and make sure it is in properly. It has to be tight for the compression. If that still dont work it may be knackered. Sorry.

Your carb has a stuck float. Most likely a piece of trash in the needle valve and seat letting gas in all the time. Could be the float has a hole in it, but less likely than just trash in the carb. When you get it cleaned, change the oil. Gas most likely got into the oil.
