My RCA D52W19 HDTV Ready TV will not turn on. The

The tv comes on but
Your rear projection lamp is defective you need to reset the program when your replace the lamp because you already reach the hrs use of the projector. Or the connector on the lamp lose.
I have the model D52W19.
the small signal board would be suspect on that model. Depending on the bar code number which is on the small signal boards sticker you may find a replacement board at
www.tvrepairworld.com for your model.
The Audio cuts out for
Check the small signal boards solder connections. The small signal board is the large green circuit board on the right when looking in the rear ( Has all the inputs on it ) Famous for solder issues on the
ITC222 small signal boards.
I turned My tv on
The tv have a problems known as a convergence pictures problems,it is dead.Tv have any colors lines R,G,B mis alignments,have colors shadows pictures or pictures look like 3D?Yes,than the tv convergence board it is dead.The tv convergence board must have it components parts replaced like 2 STK convergence ICS and some or all of it resistors too.To fixed the tv convergence board to solved the tv convergence pictures problems.The tvs shops will cost u like $300-$350 for parts and labors.
Will not turn on
Does the set make any sounds. DOes the front green led light or flash when you try to turn it on.. if not then it could be as simple as a fuse, if it does flash then it can be many problems

if you have the original remote, your right and left arrow keys adjust the size, if size changes during commercials, get into your options and turn off the auto-size option, if you don't have the original remote, you must find a universal with proper mright and left arrow buttons.
Where is the lamp on
That model doesnt have a lamp. They have three CRTs ( Picture Tubes) instaed. You can get the parts for your model at
www.tvrepairworld.com. If you have sound but no picture youre needing a deflection board, same item if the set is dead or if the power led flashes three timnes slowly. They all indicate a bad deflection board.

By "makes a noise as though the picture will come on" do you mean that it makes a clicking noise? Also what is the status of the power LED after the click? Does it indicate that the set is on or does it indicate standby mode? I suspect that this fault is associated witht High Voltage section of the tv and this info will help me confirm it so that we can narrow it down further.

The ticking noise is almost always caused by the flyback and or HOT transistor which an be obtained from
www.tvrepairworld.com and the flyback and Hot come with installation instructions.

Hi
A common problem for these is bad capacitors in the power supply, Remove the back from your Tv and look at the power supply on the left hand side.
You will see roughly around 9 x capacitors that are bulged / domed shaped on top usually these are valued at 3300uf 10V any that have bulged or leaked a brown like substance should be changed.
This will cure the problem as they overheat being sat next to a heatsink that gets very hot!
Try and change them for the same 3300uf but a higher voltage.
