My remote isnt working
Hello,If new batteries did not fix the problem, then it means the problem is either from the remote or the TV.Remote: Check the remote battery terminal, see if its not rust. Also, disassemble the remote, can check the connection between the terminal and the remote board, see if there is no disconnection of any kind.If after checking and all seems well, then it means the remote is defective. To confirm, borrow a remote, test it with the TV. If it works, then it means you need to replace your remote. But if the remote you borrowed does not work, then it means the problem is from the TV and not the remote.TV: There is a sensor in the TV that communicates with the remote. If this sensor is defective, the remote won't communicate with the TV.The TV sensor might have loosed contact from inside of the TV or it maybe defective and need to be replaced. So do the above troubleshooting and let me know if the problem is from the TV or remote. If problem is from the remote, you need to do a replacement. But if otherwise, let me knows as well.Regards.
I hooked up the new digital box Comcast sent, but
I suspect you mean by disconnecting the box and running it by itself you mean you tried to run audio from your TV by itself? Somehow you need to go through the menu on your TV setup to see if the audio output isn't either turned off or muted. THere may also be a switch on the back of your TV near your output jacks which gives a option of Speaker on or off. If the speakers are on and your TV audio works I would suspect a issue with either your patchcords or the Cable Box. I am not familiar with the Comcast Digital Cable box (I have analog). But you may want to refer to the manual or to them to see if something in the menu may turn on audio for that as well.
After doing all that (whew)... and if nothing works you may have a issue with the TV amp. If nothing is hooked up to the tv (as if you were just watching "On Air" with an antenna and no stereo connected can you hear audio?
Let me know.
Kindly, DAVID
It's snowy
its the problem in tuners on the circuit board
Remove the back. If the tuner is a surface mount type that is incorporated into the main board, smack it with a **** of a screwdriver. If it response to beating on it, then you might want to try re-soldering ALL of the grounds in the tuner section. You'll need a 40 watt iron. You must get the shield grounding points as hot as you can. When the boards are dipped soldered, the shield points don't get hot enough for the solder to take real good. It's hard to get them to take the solder even when you do it by hand. That's why a 25 watt iron won't get it.
a proper soldering iron tool is required to do this.

From the manual (search Google for CM27101S):
Normally, your TV displays the signal coming through the antenna terminal. However, If you?ve
connected another component to your TV(such as a VCR) using the Video/Audio input, you will
want to be able to view the signal from the component.
To do this, you will need to switch from the ? TV ? input to the ? Line1, Line2 ? Input, as follows:
1 With the TV on, press the MENU button twice, then ? Set-Up ? menu will appear.
2 Use the WCHVbuttons to select ? Input ?.
3 Press the CVOLB buttons to change from ? TV ? to ? Line1, Line 2 ?.
4 Wait 10 seconds, or press the MENU button to return to normal TV viewing.

Have you tried using 01 or 00 as a channel to view your DVD input?
Try that...
Also, try looking for your manual here:

Good luck!
TV dropped
That's still repairable here some tips need to consider as follow:
1)
Intermittent loss of syncronisation, both horizontal and vertical
The surface mounted power transistor on the teletext module requires
resoldering. As there is evidence of scorching on the board the use of
a more substantial component would be indicated perhaps with small
heatsink
2)
Picture displaced vertically, picture too high or low
This problem was cured by entering the service mode (menu then
4,7,2,5), then pressing the green fastext button to access geometry
settings, selecting VP1 (vertical position) and adjusting as necessary
3)
Vertical line at the left of the picture
Replace L506 on A board, replacement part number 1-407-366-00
4)
Problems with screen size
Look out for 2 x 2.2uF electrolytics (sometimes red in color)
5)
Vertical height oversize
The eprom was found to be faulty (nvm)
Please let me know any update.
