2007 Eos bought end of
The cruise control issue is a common problem. The switch that is behind the steering wheel tends to wear out and the whole stalk will have to be replaced. I had the same problem with mine. It would work intermittently and over time it stopped working all together. I replaced the stalk and it was fixed
How do I replace the Cruise Control module for 2008 Volkswagen Eos?
The first thing you are going to want to do with a car that sophisticated is buy a manual. I believe the module you are speaking of is located between the firewall and the block on the drivers side of the vehicle. It should be fairly easy to find -- trace back from the Throttle Positioning Sensor wire-harness to the unit.
There is a clip to disconnect -- and in some cases a cable -- though I think that particular unit is a fly-by-wire system. And detach it from the mount/s. To install - reverse the process.
1970 vw transmission stuck in gear
The selection lever leading into the transmission is stuck in between the gear selector shafts. Pull the engine, disconnect the shift rod shaft under the back seat, take the big bolts holding the transmission to the frame out, slide the transmission forward, unbolt the transmission housing. From there push the housing back to expose the shift levers & selector fork. Align the fork back into the levers so it is freely operating. Bolt the housing back up. Now put it back together. Its about a 2 hour job. Good luck.

2001 volkswagen cabrio cruise control won't engage
It's most likely the control stalk on the steering wheel where you engage and disengage the cruise control. It's a common problem with VW. Also check your fuse panel and check the cruise control fuse.

How do i replace jetta hood latch
Don't buy an aftermarket. Also there is a reason why yours failed, it is likely out of adjustment, my wife had a few fender benders in the car and so I had to shim it with washers to line it up correctly.
If i remember correctly they are 3 allen bolts holding it, on a clip to the wire and a clip for the pull that pops out. Always reattach the pull as soon as you can, I made the mistake of lining it up prior to reattaching the pull, and accidently shut the latch without reattaching the pull.

tighten the clamp at the end of the hose. wipe hose off, add fluid see if it still leaks? the oil on the hose could be running down the hose from the loose hose clamp?
