It seems lots of people have the same problem with this appliance....including myself......I took the drawers out of the freezer.....removed the iced up plastic cover which houses the fan assembly.....some water had settled in the bottom and froze, therefore stopping it from turning.....just spin it and it with start up again.....hope it helps ;)

ok.. none of what you have done involved taking the back off.. if you can get to the compressor itself, you will find it has a dinky 'computer' style fan.. but invariably, some fool of a designer, runs wires very close, and uses low quality cable ties.. which break, causing the wires to spring up and jam the fan.. (especially if it has been moved recently) significantly reducing your compressors ability to chill your appliance. get some decent cable ties, check and secure rogue wires, and things should sort themselves back to the right temperatures within a few hours.

-Remove every thing you have in there. Open its door and then unplug the power cord. Leave it open and unplug for 1 day or until all ice melt down and then clean up. (Do Not use any shape edge like knife, screws driver to scratch or remove any ice! It'll damage the Freon system.) If the shape object need to be used then you'll get NEW Fridge soon. Dry it up and then plug back again. -Make sure set the temperature knob to normal Only. (not the coldest) This will eliminate to build ice faster than normal. Good luck Mai

It should shut off when it reaches the correct temperature. If you have the temp set to low it could cause it to continue to run or if there is an issue with the fridge that could also cause this issue. Keep in mind after a defrost it will take some time for everything to get back to the correct temp so it may run constant for a long time.
