This is a forum dedicated to sports video games and sometimes the products of these games like 2K or EA are around to answer questions. If anyone could help you, or might have had a similar experience its these guys. Hope that helps!

I just had the same problem this morning and I searched for solutions and I got nothing. So, here's what I did. I simply placed the game in, get it to the point of "checking HDD space" and let it sit. The game isn't frozen because you can see the dots moving after the word "space" I did that at 8:00 this morning. Left the house for about 2 hrs, came back and it was working. So all I can say is be patient, let it check the HDD space for as long as it needs. Hopes this helps!
