It sounds like the carb is flooding, rebuild it.

Carb needs cleaning.you are doing the same thing the choke does.

Sounds like a low battery. or the starter is not working properly. Charge your battery and if its an older one get it checked at a battery sales store to see if its up to snuff. They usually check these for no charge.

The reason for gas at that point is the needle valve is not seating. The problem will be either bad float or bad needle valve. Most likely will be the needle valve is bad. Replace needle valve and carburetor gasket. If it has been doing this for more than a few hours you will need to double check your oil as it may have gas mixed in the crank case. If there is gas in the oil you would need to repair the carb and change the oil before starting the engine. Make sure not to over fill the oil. Hope this will help ya

depends on what gear box you have but usualy the brake is on the left side of the gearbox,there will be a rod or spring attatched to an arm, in the centre of the arm at the bottom will be a nut,either a nyloc nut or a castleated nut which will have a split pin running through it. all you have to do to adjust the brake is turn the centre nut clockwise. i have attached a pic of a gearbox and the arm i mentioned is number 41 in the diagram

How do you know the battery is fully charged? Simply hooking a battery up to a charger does not ensure that the battery is being charged. The symptoms you mention are indicative of a dead battery.

This is most likely the flywheel on the motor that has slipped out of timing. You need to replace the woodruff key and set the flywwheel back in line with the slots for the key.
