SharpVision XV-Z9000 Multimedia Projector Questions & Answers
I changed the bulb and still the two red indicator
Unfortunately, the "two red light" problem appears to be common to Sharp and Eiki projectors (some models use the same circuitry). Your projector will need the power supply and/or ballast replaced by a technician. From what I've seen, that can run several hundred dollars.
I just replaced the bulb
According to the manual, the problem is with the lamp circuit, what technicians call the ballast. It's not a user-replaceable part. Send it to a service center or look for a replacement unit.
I followed the above directions
check this picture
At the back of your projector just right beside the blue VGA cable, there is a tiny hole in between the HDMI cable. That is the reset button where the red pointed arrow displays. Just turn off your projector, then press and hold that for 4 secs. That is how you will reset the projector
I habe a Sharp SharpVision
If you are using it for a long period of time, try to have it rest for 2-4 hours. But since you just watch a movie and it did not work on another, I guess those 2 red lights indicating that you might have trouble with the power supply of it or its battery. You may unplug, hold the power button and replug it to check if the system can work. If it is no good, then have it repaired by calling your dealer..
Input Screen shows a permanent image
resolution issue. reset the settings to factory default. if that doesn't solve it, make sure the resolution on the projector matches what is on the computer. and it should take mac ok. also check the cable.
Broken lamp on Sharp XV Z9000 and projector not switching on
if the lamp blew during use, the projector was not able to complete the shut down mode. it will turn on by itself until it does. replace the lamp, let it warm up, and press power to initiate the shut down. after it powers down, reset the lamp timer and turn it on. all should be well.
VGA video display
Can you describe what you mean by the display not being right? Are the colors wrong or does it not display at all?
Thanks,
Dan
