I rewired the power cord to my JVC Projection TV, because the old one had been chewed up. Now, when I try to plug it into electrical outlet, it sparks and blows a breaker on my house breaker box?

The wires are shorted together somewhere! Or you switched ground with hot or neutral! Are you trying to burn down your house? Even if you manage to get it working, it still could be a fire hazard because it isn't done correctly! Wrong kind of crimp or a bad solder job can create a fire! PLEASE get someone that knows electrical or electronics to fix it! Most of the people I know that have the background can fix it correctly in about 10-15 minutes.

HDMI ports not working on JVC TV

Unplug (if you have not tried it) the set for a while (do the same to a box if using one) and plug both back up after a while and see if a reboot on both will restore operation.Highly unlikely for both to fail at same time.

Just change the bulb few

Hi, did you make sure it was the right lamp the reason is that theres two types of lamp one that shoots the light wider and another that concentrates on the center. Also check the ballast the main power of the bulb it comes to happen that when u put in a new bulb the ballast is not able to provide enough power to light up the whole screen.
