After researching this problem I found that many people have the same issue. the only fix for this is to bring it back to the stor because this is an ongoing problem with a faulty piece of equipment. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but your food processor appears to have a known issue with not powering up.

If you really want the manual, look on the box for the company's 800 number. they will send you one.

However, I had the exact model and it quit on me after two uses. Another person on this site reports the same thing, which leads me to believe that this particular model is defective.

I returned mine and got anyother model...something sturdier. It cost more but will hold up in the long run.

Apparantly Black & Decker has lowered their standards in quality.

I had the same trouble with that same exact model.
I hope you kept the receipt.
Take it back to the store & get another model. Apparantly this particular model is defective.

It could be that liquid coolant got into the low-pressure part of the cooling system when it was on its side, and is preventing the expansion valve from doing its job converting high-pressure liquid coolant to gas. My recommendation is to unplug it, wait the 24 hours, and plug it back in. Excess fluid should have drained to the bottom of the cooling system by then, and normal cooling can begin.

Try putting some water and plug in to heat. when water is hot, stop and try the bowl.
